With Hogwarts in the midst of another school year, the castle can be found bursting at the seams with Magic of all sorts. As young love, friendships and rivalries flourish, darkness is brewing within the castle’s walls. Colm "Cam" Monroe ϟ Unknown ϟ Seventh Year ϟ Ravenclaw
Colm (or Cam as he’s affectionately known by almost everyone,) was raised by his mother without any knowledge of his father. Anne, his aspiring actress of a mother, spent most of his life jumping from place to place, off West End and small television jobs and he spent a lot of his life looking after her instead of the other way around. Cam’s got a lot of street smarts. He glides through his classes effortlessly, almost always pulling Os without putting in any effort. He’s a lover, not a fighter, out to charm as many people as he wants— guy or girl— he doesn’t judge. Cam’s confident in what he knows and what he does, and he’s good at it, but with the rising dark side, he’s not too sure about what he’s doing anymore..

Oliver Wood Jr. ϟ Pureblood ϟ 7th year ϟ Ravenclaw
There is a certain pressure to follow in one’s parents footsteps when you’re the eldest child of two former Quidditch Stars; the pressure increases tenfold when you’re uncertain of your love for the game. Oliver Wood, older brother to Owen and Olivia, understands that pressure more than anyone on this planet or the next, though he wouldn’t let you see that. Oli is a people pleaser, as they say. He is one of the most understanding, considerate and generous people you will ever meet; having him in one’s corner is a godsend, he always does what he can to make everyone happy. Like in the case of his sister, Liv, he can see why she’d want to find her birth parents…but he can also understand why it had upset his parents. As a child, Oliver's grandparents thought he might be an empath, but his emotional connection to people never went farther than him needing to keep everyone happy. This wouldn’t necessarily be a problem if he also paid that sort of attention to himself, but that’s not really the case.

Two things define the life of Owen Wood: Quidditch, and proving he is better than everyone else. Most people would assume that he loves quidditch just based off of who his parents are, son of a star Keeper and one of the top scoring Chasers in history, but that's not really the case. Owen plays as a Beater on the Gryffindor Quidditch Team; at first, he played because he knew that's what his parents wanted. Yet, neither of them really seemed to care about what he was doing or how his games went. As he grew older, Owen decided not to care....about well, anything really. He doesn't care about his grades, class mates, not even his own family. Hard headed and brutally honest, there's little to know about Owen that isn't already public knowledge. He learned from a young age that he couldn't count on his family for anything, and when you can't count on your family - who can you count on?

Life for Katie has been explosive. She graduated top of her class at Hogwarts, became the star chaser for the Chudley Cannons and fell madly in love with one of the greatest Keepers of all time. She loves every little thing about her life and how she's lived it; besides the fact that she can't seem to be enough for her daughter. After having two beautiful baby boys, Katie just wanted one more. A baby girl to perfect their beautiful family, but that's when disaster struck. After a lengthy game (lasting three days) against her husband's team, Puddlemere United, Katie suffered a horrendous injury. She fell thousands of feet from her broom after being knocked off by a bludger to the stomach, Katie found out she could no longer have children. Devastated, she turned to Oliver to guide her. With his and Angelina's thinking, Katie's two best friends convinced her that she could adopt; after months of paperwork and searching, they found the most perfect three month old baby in an orphanage in downtown London. They brought Olivia home within a fortnight, their family finally completed. Katie works happily alongside her longtime friend George Weasley at Weasley Wizard Wheezes in Diagon Alley.

Olivia "Liv" Wood ϟ Unknown ϟ 5th year ϟ Slytherin
For the five years Liv has spent at Hogwarts, only two things have made it worthwhile: Juliet Zabini and being the Quidditch announcer. Just the announcer though, no matter how much she loves Quidditch there is nothing in this world you could do to get Olivia Wood on a broom. Olivia is a very straightforward girl, who expects nothing but honesty from those around her. This past summer, she began searching for her birth parents; being adopted doesn't particularly bother her, she love her Mum and Dad more than anything, and hurting them was the very last thing she wanted to do. Lately, it's just felt like something is missing from her life and Liv feels that maybe finding her birth parents, discovering why they gave her away...well, maybe that would help? The past year, things have changed for her. She's gotten colder, slightly more cynical and sometimes just downright mean; most would blame this on the fact that she's been best friends with Jules for ages, but her brother, Oliver, knows exactly why. She's had such bad luck locating her real parents, and that's taken a toll on her. Oliver is her confidant, within the family. He's one of her best friends, whereas Owen is like a demon child from hell. The only goal Liv has for the year is to find her real parents, to fix the gaping hole in her chest.

Only two things in Oliver Wood's life matter, family and Quidditch. After Hogwarts, he played as Keeper for Puddlemere United for ten years eventually retiring and taking a position as coach. Not long after he started playing, he was reunited with former house-mate Katie Bell; needless to say, the two fell in a sort of rivalry love. After much begging on Oliver's part, Katie agreed to go on one date with him - they have been inseparable ever since. He has three children, two boys and one girl, whom he loves very deeply. He is, as always, a very upstanding man who would do anything to protect those who matter to him. As his daughter, Liv, began asking questions about her birth parents, Oliver made a very important decision to never lie to her. Regardless of the fact that she was adopted, Oliver loves Olivia like his own and no matter how much it hurts to see her looking for something she may never find, he will help as much as he can. Being so busy with work and helping his daughter, Oliver has paid very little attention to his sons (accidentally, of course,) but he never fails to send them a weekly owl, asking about Quidditch and their studies. The impending terror feels surreal to Oliver, until something actually happens, he's decided to turn a blind eye to the situation.

Character biography
Nessa Grey comes from a troubled past,all of her troubles starting the day she was conceived. She’s the child of Alessandra Cruz (nee LaSalle), a spanish barmaid, and a married wealthy Maxwell Grey. Nessa was primarily raised by her mother, who struggled with money (and wouldn’t accept any from her father). She only spent holidays and summer vacations in her father’s house, with his wife and Sebastian. Nessa and her brother get on very well, being that they’re so close in age. Still, she was extremely jealous of him and his perfect life.
Nessa’s life was difficult but bearable until she turned seven years old and her mother remarried to a man named Alejandro. He beat abused both Nessa and her mother for seven years, and began sexually abusing Nessa when she hit puberty at nine years old. Alessandra, having mistaking him raping her as being consented, kicked the young girl out at fourteen years old. Nessa tried to live with her father for a little while, but his shouting and incessant disappointment forced her to move out and look elsewhere for housing. Nessa soon began dating men much older than her, which led to abuse and the start of her drug and alcohol use.
Nessa Grey is a brilliant girl, with a waste of beautiful talent. She throws her body around as if it was a rag, uses drugs (coke being her drug of choice) to help her forget things in her troubling past. Nessa is extremely flirtatious, seductive, with a great sense of humor. She has difficultly facing her problems, and often runs away from them.
