SPOILERS FOR S&B SEASON 2:

Okay… can we just talk about how excited I was for season 2 of Shadow and Bone only to have them rush through books two and three without taking a single breathe.

•Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for seeing Aleksander on his back, but damn.

•The way they changed Baghra and David’s deaths. I was okay with David’s; it was a sweet change. However, they changed SO much about Baghra’s capture and death.

•There was ZERO build up to discovering the Firebird. Yes, I already knew it was Mal, but there was no adventure like the book.

•Staying with the “no adventure” thing, we got Sturmhond for an episode and then his big secret is revealed. WTH?!

•Mal and Alina… yup…

•And circling back… They’ve already killed Aleksander.

Edit: ALSO: the timeline is so messed up now. SoC is a whole other conversation.

Jewish people don’t celebrate Christmas, to them it’s just another day. So they often would want to go out to eat, but a lot of restaurants here in the US close on Christmas. Chinese restaurants are usually open on Christmas though and they usually have a lot of kosher options, making them one of the prime eating out options. So we started going to Chinese restaurants on Christmas out of convenience and it evolved into a tradition :)
