In the early 90s the world of music videos in hip hop were taking off. In the era of NWA and Dr Dre most of the world was falling in love with the tougher aspects of west coast culture. Then comes “The Chronic” an album crafted to provide a good time and generate a good vibe. The “Nuthin But A G Thang” video not only introduced the masses to the legend Snoop Dogg but also gave the world a glimpse of what a chill day in the life in our community looks like. Most notably, the park barbecue...food, lowriders, and good energy. One of the iconic scenes from this video also gave hip hop one its most memorable “too hot for tv” moments that would go down in history forever!
