I taught 100 level straight out of grad school. I had pretty much zero say on much of anything when it came to what was expected. It was all up to the department.
Adjuncts get all the crap courses at the worst times. Have no unions or benefits. Rarely get to interact with tenured staff unless they are having an in classroom evaluation.
