Vice Versa
That night, i watched a highly cheerfull faces who came out accompanied with disappointed faces. I heard this second feeling faintly. Mercubuana Choir has just finished its audition to find chosen members for Overseas Competition, in Barcelona-Spain.
WAIT! You don’t have to spread that “WOWW” expression. In choir, compete to europe is very common. It’s SO SO experience until they made it through by bringing gold medals.
So, what’s make it so special to be told?. Yep! Compete to europe is definitely first gig for Mercubuana Choir.
More than 50% of active members must forgot their dreams to taking part of this competition. And more than 20% of them are repeatedly failed from Mercubuana Choir Overseas Competition Audition year by year.
This, is what i concern the most.
Do you feel what they feel?..........Do you feel what they parents feel?
Their faces were full of disappointment, sad, like there’s no morning anymore. Some of them are not even a lazy members who lack of exercises. Vice versa.
I don’t even get any idea to encourage them. I don’t know how hard my hug is to overcome this situation.
And how about those who made it through?
Yep. Like most people did, they yelled, laughed, happy-cried. Well, they deserve it. Indeed. But they created an out of control euforia that make them forgot their “loser” friends sitting on the corner of that room. It was an awkward yet real moment, man!
One thing that i always do when i win something from others, i put my self as my opposite partner first, then smile at them. After this situation well resolved and turning back into normal, then i “jump” overratedly. LOL.
