Listen, I know that there are people who go to bed at 7pm

But I'm the type of person who (specifically today) takes a nap at 7pm, wakes up to an alarm set at 9:30pm, takes a shower, begrudgingly starts an art project due in 2 days at 11pm...

And by 12:30am, I've gotten an okay chunk of the project done, headbanged to My Chemical Romance, made Chai tea, realized I have melty peppermints, made another cup of Chai to put peppermints in, and made a Tumblr post about it all

This all to say: I really wish that part of the world ran on a nocturnal schedule because I'm way more productive in the early hours of the morning before actual sleep than I am at any point in time during the normal work day

When you're literally 10 seconds away from finishing an assignment, but your brain decides you've already finished the task mentally, so there's nothing to worry about and you spend half an hour on TikTok, Tumblr, and literally anything else just wasting time instead of finishing your goddamn assignment and turning it in and CAN I PLEASE GET A REFUND FOR MY NON-WORKING BRAIN, WHY DOES IT DO THIS WITH PROJECTS AND TASKS OF ANY KIND

I did a recolor just for fun a while back, so enjoy pastel goth Blitzø while I give you an update on my Zex project! Basically I have my shot list done (5 pages for 4 minutes) and am now on to sketching mini thumbnails for shots and scenes! I'm super excited to be working on a personal project this scale, even if it is a bit daunting. Scratch that, it's more than a bit daunting. But I'll get it done eventually! It'll just take time because I'm doing it by myself. So yeah! Hopefully I'll have another update for you guys soon! Have a good day/night!

Meet Hex, Zex's counterpart from an alternate universe - one where he's pastel coloured, shy, polite, and not quite as traumatized. Zex would hate him if they ever met, especially for that last part. (He'd get very angry and jealous that this version of him still has all the good things he'll never have anymore.)

Here is my OC Zex if he were styled in Steampunk. Did this a while ago, but forgot to upload it - whoops.

Good news is that I'm working on a pretty huge project (considering I'm doing it by myself and it's a slightly new medium to me) starring Zex as the center character! This new project will also incorporate a lot more of his backstory, which I've been slowly but surely figuring out.

The real question is: would you guys like updates? I know those of you who have seen Zex seem to like him, so I'd lean towards yes. But I'm in college and like I said, this is a huge project, so updates if you were to want them would be pretty spaced out. Just comment to let me know if you want updates or for the project to be a surprise!

- personal projects that you never have time for

- school websites you have to have up for classes every day (and are just too lazy to close down until the weekend comes)

- homework assignments that you tell yourself you're working on but really just don't want to forget about because you're waiting til the last minute to start on them

- references and grading scales for those assignments because goddammit you still want to get good grades, but you know you're gonna have to have fast access to those fuckers when you speed write your shit

- rabbit hole wonderings that you should definitely close out of because you most probably have undiagnosed ADHD and those tabs WILL distract you for hours on end (which you cannot afford right now)

- and Tumblr, because in the midst of your speed-typing, you come up with ideas for five new posts and remember the two others you forgot to type up three weeks ago
