starting Woe.Begone in late 2025 is hilarious because Mike is out here like, 'when I win this game, soon' and I am like there are 220+ episodes to go, my guy, I would not be so sure.

watching john dies at the end again now that ive read the books is kind of disappointing. they just cut out the entire middle of the book and stitched the ends together, which definitely explains why the movie's pacing has always seemed so weird and confusing to me. the whole movie is really good scenes strung together in ways that don't really work because everything that connected them into a cohesive narrative has been removed. i know it's a pretty long book and it would've been hard to include everything, but i can only imagine how incredible this movie could have been if they'd found a way to do it.
