Gazafunds actually deals with this anxiety and makes a decision for you if you want. Their home page has a spotlighted fundraiser and the code consider things like how close the gfm is to finishing, when the most recent donation is, etc. So it's randomized to help as many people as possible.

There's also @helpgazachildren which if you donate, you can help multiple people at once since it's a whole mutual aid fund, or at least close to it. Hussam distributes money to people who need it when he's asked.

buying esims is a bit more involved than some may realize-- there are different plans available (1GB, 3GB, 5GB, 10GB), all different prices, all of which expire, meaning that you need to continuously replenish, or "top-off", someone's data plan once the esim is activated

(well-- it's not "needed" perse, but having a plan expire means the esim user must go through the arduous process of activating a new esim- which as stated above, are in extremely limited supply

maintaining an esim may not be feasible for everyone. if that's the case for you- i strongly recommend putting money towards crips for esims. this project not only purchases esims, but keeps 3000+ esims active on behalf of their donors

Not calling this person out specifically but I’ve seen this take a bunch of times and I think it’s very misguided. JKR is not being a hypocrite by attacking Black and brown women, she is being racist. She is not being a hypocrite by attacking intersex women, she is being intersexist. She is a racist whose idea of womanhood is bound in exclusively white terms, an idea that comes from a very long, very rich tradition in western (and particularly UK) feminism. There is no hypocrisy going on here, it’s not a rhetorical or analytical error on her part, she isn’t contradicting herself, she is a racist who does not consider Black women or women of colour to be “real” women & especially does not consider them worthy of protection. This is only hypocritical if you ignore the central role white supremacy plays within terf thought

maybe i'm stepping out of line here but a cis algerian woman being called a "biological male" to slander her in post is just as much racism as it is transmisogyny. a lot of transmisogynistic rhetoric is in fact, misogynoir in a new shirt is it true that it invokes the specter of a grotesque mockery of "real womanhood" by being too masculine? yes. except "real womanhood" here means whiteness. women of color are always by default degendered in a similar way that transfeminine people are. it's not transmisogyny hitting the wrong target, it's the same racism we've always faced the whole time. we are denied the status of "woman" when it would benefit us because we are physically deemed unfit for it by RACE. it does not fundamentally matter if she really does have an abnormal karyotype or not because a white intersex woman would not have been discussed this way (i'm saying this as an intersex POC)
