Another headcannon because you guys really like the previous one, Icewings are musical. They don’t use drums or strings like the Sandwings do, instead they use carved out icicles similar to woodwind instruments. The instruments are always accompanied by vocals preformed by a trained singer. The dragons preform songs in a similar fashion to opera and are nearly always trained since hatching and the combined vocals and echoey instrumental makes it a rather ethereal experience. Musicians and singers are highly sought after and held in high regards. Before the destruction of the System of Circles, most musicians were either high in the third circle or in the second circle.

smaugust 6 one of those fantasy stories where they find the last dragon egg in the world and hatch it, but instead of starting off as a cute or cool baby that grows to a useful size in a week, it’s just a giant baby bird that’s entirely altricial for like five years and it can’t do anything but 1) scream and 2) die and the protagonist has to put their wizard quest or whatever they were doing before on hold to raise this increasingly large and awful baby
