hello my name is orion!

i love video games but unfortunately suck at them and because of that (and other stuff) im just now getting into a lot of them!

a little about me.. i am 18, and use any pronouns! i am extremely neurodivergent (autism adhd ocd) and that usually reflects in how i consume media and will probably impct this blog!

this blog is mostly dedicated to the remedyverse/control 2019 which i am currently playing through. i am planning on playing alan wake and quantum break as soon as i finish it <3 the faden siblings are my everything lol.

my other main games are slime rancher and the quarry, but some other games i enjoy are the stanley parable, superliminal, road 96, life is strange, undertale/deltarune, minecraft, the sims, stardew valley (cozy games were my safe space for a long time lol, im just now expanding my horizons to horror and puzzle games)

finished foundation and have almost 100% it!!! i got jesses cat ears :3 im working on awe now but ill probably take a small break to get what i missed in foundation and the main game!!! im soooo close to maxing out my ability points im excited!!!!!!

my first impressions of road 96:

i'm really liking the game's art style

the dialogue boxes not forcing you into a cutscene (actually being able to move around while talking to someone) is fantastic

the real-world references are not subtle in the least

i am terrible at playing the trombone

road 96 is such a beautiful fucking game??? like?? and i'm not just talking visually, i mean emotionally. the way that once you get a teen to the border and across, the next teen you play as, you can see and hear the echoes of the previous teen. the way the other characters will sometimes give them (you) a passing mention, and how their (your) graffiti is still visible at the final cave. the intertwining lives that only you know exactly how they weave together.

Finally getting around to actually posting my piece from volume 3 of the @fbczine. With the horror theme for this one I just had to parody the Army of Darkness poster. Always love working with this team, and the art and writing that comes out of these zines is always stellar!

I finished this back in July so while I am still very proud of myself for such a large piece, I know I can do even better now.
