they are adding america to fortune weave.
Around mid-twenties and you think a 17 year old wouldn't think you're old? Wellll, depending on the millennium, there could be one generation existing between the both of us already. Besides, no one's escaping being called 'old' when he's here calling Seteth old every other day.
"I dunno. It seems that's what all the adults are doing nowadays." He sighs in relief, one corner of his lips arches into smirk at the thought. He's certainly not complaining when that is half the reason why the library is always empty. "Gossips, maybe? Books provide the same information of the wider world and general knowledge, but the authors don't seem keen in writing gossips in there."
What seemed troubling to him is the fact that this old man didn't seem very enthusiastic about anything in particular at all. He crosses his arms before gesturing with a hand, brows furrowing in concern. "So, you're not a newspaper kinda guy, are ya?"
He thinks for a moment. his eyes glazing a bit.
After all with his wife dead, there wasn't much to look forward to in life. But distraction from his wife death is what might save him...maybe. in any case Orson is a bit of a bland man for now.
"...Me and my wife use to go to the theatre. She loved the romantic plays."
Loved, past tense.
"...Apologies, I am not much of a ....conversationalist."

three houses verses he would be living in the stables because his wife dead again.
"Really~?" he hummed, regarding the other over the fish on a stick he was currently holding over the flames.
He might counter that the other was rather gloomy. Reminded him of someone else, really...
"What can I say, the night inspires me." He drew the fish back away from the fire, examining it for a moment - then offered it out to his companion. "Want some?"
Orson barley moved, barely acted on hunger even. Decaying slowly, thinner then ever. But enough strength to not be questioned at all.
"...No..."
His limbs twitched, and he tosses another stick to the fire.
"You...need it more. I would...it would be wasted on me."

temptation to write as if monica is always there.

"You are... rather happy, are you not?" It was by the stroke of night, where the campfire was the only source of light. Camping was normal for a knight, especially one who avoids the main city to avoid their own grief.
--starter call---
reminder that Orson is f-ing shredded under his armor.
Wow... just like that? He didn't think the old chap would agree without putting up a fight. Not even trying to bargain anything back in return? Careful there, old man. That's how you get scammed till you leave Fodlan naked. Then again, maybe he's just lonely...?
Claude realize, then, there's nothing in particular that he really wants. Except, perhaps, some food and snacks.
Ok... Think, Claude, think. What do old people usually do when they hang out with someone half their age? "I suppose we can..." he taps the side of his head with two fingers, "read the newspaper...?" That's what old people his age liked doing, don't they?
And, he supposes, sparring too, but it's the least of his favourite activities. And he's not all that willing to bend backwards to help a stranger out.
actually Orson is around mid twenties. Its just that sadness has a way to age people too fast until they find the brightness in their life again. Of course Orson is in no condition to correct anyone.
"...Why the newspaper?"
it was rather mundane, he had briefly thought with his flashy appearance it would be something expensive like hosting a fear in his name or something similar.
Orson still has a knight salary.
"So... you're dubbed the Fire Emblem Uncle, huh? Does that mean that you'll pay for everything I grab at the merchant's market?" Did parents, or uncles, do that? Riiight. With the life he's lived, he might as well not have any. "C'mon, you can't be an uncle without spending some money on a lil ol' nephew like me." ... @thronedbydeath
Without wife, no reason to actually spend anything. A bit depressed and rather dangerously close to the kind of things people avoid. Orson is confused abit at the introduction.
"Fire...emblem uncle?" He questions, honestly confused at this point.
"...Very well, if that what you want."
boo
you can really see the difference.
