Served in the Air Force, got injured and mental health tanked. Gained weight. Therapy and meds for anxiety and depression. Applied for life insurance through USAA so family doesn’t struggle in the event of my demise. Got denied due to my weight gain, anxiety and depression on meds, by a company that’s supposed to be all about veterans and their families.

Trying to help my wife out of her depression, but I don’t know what a Bu to do. I feel so helpless. I’m trying my best to take as much off her plate as I can to take the stress away. Only thing I know is to listen and love her through it.
