graduation is coming
This whole year has been marked by a feeling of anticipation ever present at the edges of my consciousness. This feeling has become more real with the beginning of the final term of college. Graduation looms ahead and the future seems scary, exciting and unavoidable. It’s a bit like the feeling of cliff jumping, the brief moment of suspension before hitting the water, the anticipation tinged with anxiety. I have nine more weeks to go, to be present in every moment of this space and place, to enjoy old stomping grounds, to have long conversations with dear friends who are never more than minutes away at any given moment, to struggle with homework on couches in warm houses, to drink study beers and play bar trivia and have late night ramen dates with people who I can’t imagine being separated from so soon. Graduation is coming and I’m not ready yet, but I know that I will be.

Made it to Italia!
All I can think right now is: holy shit, in less than 24 hours I'll be leaving for Rome. For 3 1/2 months. Holy shit.
food for thought, all too often I forget to pay myself as much care as I know how too.

It's amazing how much plants grow with water, sunlight, and care, when I planted this bed three-ish weeks ago with a friend they were all small starter plants and my how they have grown!

“Space is big. You just won’t believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it’s a long way down the road to the chemist’s, but that’s just peanuts to space.”
