a lot of non-black poc and such have disclaimers on their blog so you can offer criticism if needed be. i don't much like confrontation but if youre like too sensitive to admit that you're not willing to take criticism if needed be from actual black people then youre really sensitive and anti black sorry to say that. like theres absolutely not debate that as a nonblack person you putting a disclaimer: hey critique me if im being anti black or racist but you know
Itâs really evident that you did not read my answer. Or, not thoroughly. I am perfectly receptive to listening so long as the person giving the criticism of a certain racial issue pertains to that race. But, the fact of the matter is, you are on anon and I donât know if youâre actually black trying to explain a genuine issue to me or if youâre a white person trying to speak over POC. Now, before you say Iâm trying to discredit you or that I donât believe you on any of this, this website has made me incredibly cynical. I have seen so many people lie about their race and Iâve seen so many white people try to dictate what is and is not offensive for groups of people, so Iâm sorry that Iâd prefer to speak one on one with someone to get my shit straight. The fact of the matter is, for someone who doesnât like confrontation, you seem perfectly comfortable with going on anon and making anti-black implications about me when I have not expressed that sentiment, and only wanted to speak to someone whoâs black one-on-one for confirmation. Iâve also spoken with someone OOC who is black and latinx and they didnât see reason in the disclaimer thing, but if thatâs just one opinion against popular community belief, then I am more than willing to engage with more people and listen to more than one opinion. But, my point is, with the way Tumblr is and the fact you are on anon and I know nothing about you, I canât help but be skeptical.Â
I am perfectly receptive to listening, but I like to know the sources that Iâm getting my information from is credible. If being thorough and complete makes me âsensitiveâ, then thatâs just a shame.
