After a short hiatus due to finals, Admin Tori is back! Over the hiatus, us admins discussed and we came to the agreement that we are going to make this just an oc rp. HISTORY
Talulah Mardock or as Lulu which she prefers was born the middle child and only girl in a very artsy family. Her mother was an art dealer and curator for a museum and her father a Broadway legend, the arts were in her blood the day she was born.
She took after her mother in looks and interest in art. She was not musically inclined but the more she studied, colors, strokes and details she found a love for art. She wasn’t an artist but learning from her mother she learned to appreciate what it meant to curate great art.
Lulu was a precocious child, vibrant and bold. she was odd but well like among her class. However she was just one side of the coin. The other side came with her best friend Jameson. She was mecurial and he was always moving, they were solid pair. Wherever one was, the other was close behind
when Lulu was 10 though her mother passed away, a fragment of her never recovered from that. She was always closer to her mother, found comfort in their similarities. Her father usually aloof had to step up but Lulu grew a little more distant from him.
Lulu always had Jameson though and leaned on him, just as he did when he needed it. The only time they were ever apart was when she went away to school. Accepting a spot abroad Lulu went to study art history, she talked to Jameson as much as she could but slowly it got less and less.
She met a boy. He was charming and quirky and he was a distraction from the crumbling nature she held inside. they started dating and it was fine, normal and perfectly fun until he hit her. he apologized. it happened again and again. Lulu chastized him each time, put up a fight but he held on to her and she didn’t have Jameson, her mother, her family back home, she was alone.
their was a rational part of her that understood she needed to leave but she couldn’t figure out how, she couldn’t leave, as she looked back she started to realize what he was doing. something in her broke down and found her voice and finally told her oldest brother what was happening and he came and brought her home.
She returned and finally felt safe at home, safe with Jameson. She returned to school, attending River Valley. But finding out that she had to participate in the marriage class is terrifying to her. But there is nothing she can do to get out of it.
But somehow she was partnered with Jameson. Part of her always knows she’s had feelings for her best friend, she never wanted to admit though. And now more then ever she feels as if she no longer deserves love and knows someone as good as Jameson deserves someone better then her. But she’s afraid of what’ll happen when she actually lets down her guard.
CONNECTIONS
the seeker: he has been in her life forever. a friendship to test the sands of time. he the other side of the coin. he has never let her down and she cherishes him because she almost lost him. the prospect of the class was terrifying and she was nearly ready to drop out but when she found he was going to be at her side for this as well she felt as if she could do this. they have been together since childhood and deep in her heart she’s always known she’s love this boy but she’s never been able to admit it. being brought together for this project is a testament of their friendship and she’s doing everything to keep her feelings buried.
older brother: her older brother is the only person who knows what happened to her and she’d like to keep it that way. she’s always looked up to him but he’s always been nearly a second father to her, their father being so aloof. she tends to come to him with her problems and loves him dearly. telling her brother what happened was hard and she nearly felt ashamed but he never judges her. she was living with him before the school year, it was her safe place and she’s not very happy to have that safety invaded
younger brother: her younger brother has always been her folly, they are close in age, much closer then their older brother and for that reason they grew up looking up to their older brother. she won’t tell her secrets to him though. it’s not that she doesn’t trust him, it’s just that theirs always been a difference in the kind of relationship she has with him. they are close but very guarded with their words. she would do anything for him but the less they actually speak of their secrets the better chance they have at protecting each other.

HISTORY
Aribella is the oldest daughter, and biological daughter, of two dedicated scientists. Her parents had been working years on different bio chemical experiments, until suddenly they found out that they were about to have a child. Their experiments had been put on hold, only until they could find some time to work around their baby.
Ari had always been raised to do what she wanted in life. Her mother had busted through the male dominated field she worked in, showing Ari to never doubt what she can do.
When she was six, her parents adopted the daughter of a friend that had passed away, giving Ari the little sister she always wanted. She was happy to have a sister to teach everything to, and help empower to live her best life.
It wasn’t long into school that everyone found out that Ari was just as smart as her parents. She excelled in school and things were easy for her, academically. Socially, was a completely different story.
She had a group of friends for a while, but eventually they all started to drift apart and she was on her own, except for her sister. One of the hardest parts was that she always had a crush on one of them, Charlie. He was way out of her league and she never believed he would ever want to be with her, but even she could resist.
As she got older, her voice got louder and she was constantly trying to fight for the things she believed in. She was holding protests and staging sit ins at thirteen, fighting what she could in hopes to make things right. If she had the right to do what she wanted, she was going to be sure that everyone did too.
Along with her voice getting louder, so did her anxiety. Her anxiety has been something she has been insecure about her whole life. For the most part she can keep some control on it, but every once in a while it gets too much and she goes through some serious panic attacks.
Graduating with honors, she was able to get into any college she could, but she ended up going River Valley University to be a little closer to him. At least she was able to continue with her major of choice.
When she found out about this class, she was outraged. She tried to protest it and fight it as much as possible. However, no matter how much she fought and refused, she knew she didn’t have a choice. What was worst was who she was stuck with.
Charlie and her hadn’t said a lot to each other since high school, and now she’ll have to try and keep her feelings as down as possible. There was no way he was going to feel the same way about her, so she would have to fight it.
CONNECTIONS
The Genius Bruiser – Aribella has known Charlie for a while. Grew up with him even, but as a lot of childhood friendship go, eventually they drifted apart. Went their own ways in life and ended up in different circles. Even when they were kids she had a crush on him, thinking he was cute just like every other girl. However, she never thought to act on it. Whether you want to blame her anxiety or bad view of herself, she never believed he would like her, so she moved. Now it’s years later and she’s been partnered up with him in this horrific project. Forced to face those feelings and those thoughts of what ifs.
The Politician – This anti-patriarchy warrior found out what he did and wanted to do everything she could to shame him, but it was her friendship with The Warrior that stopped her. She let it be what it was, but when someone tries to talk about it, she doesn’t shy away from voicing her opinion. From making sure that people know that it’s not okay and how this shows how messed up things are.
The Warrior – She’s known her since they start school, actually finding some peace knowing that she had such a close friend. Ari usually wasn’t someone who got a long with a lot of people, but there was just something about her that she found some comfort in. During this whole class she knows she’ll need someone to lean on a bit, outside of her sister.
The Kid (wanted connection) – Ari’s sister is someone that she can always talk with and probably the only person she knows will be there forever. Her sister had grown to have a voice of her own, but that doesn’t stop Ari from constantly wanting to push her sister to do more. Speak her mind more and say more. She knows sometimes she can be overbearing and motherly, but it’s just because she wants to know that her sister is living the best life she can.

HISTORY
born into an extremely wealthy family charlie wanted for nothing material growing up. he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth because his father is a genius, brilliant beyond words and his innovations have revolutionized numerous fields.
growing up charlie had to live with that large shadow looming over him and that shadow was never pleased. he could always have better grades, he could always try harder in lacrosse practice, he could be more and more and more but he never was in his fathers eyes. he was a disappointment and he his father reminded him of it often. despite his mother’s reassurance that he did not have to be his father
he and his mother walked on eggshells around the house because everything had to be catered to his father. the only time they really had fun was when he went off on business trips, the house was allowed to be lively.
growing up he had a group of friends but as it happens they drifted and he became popular. he’s good looking, charming and intelligent but there are days when he missed all his old friends.
he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps and he’s aiming to get his degrees in physics and engineering. however he’s always enjoyed the practical side rather then the theoretical side of his studies and prefers to try rather then study.
their is a part of himself that he keeps hidden cause he knows he’ll never have his dads approval. he’s so artistic. he sketches all his own designs, draws things around him but he’s never shown anyone his artwork. it’s a waste of time in his father’s eyes and charlie is already walking on thin ice with his dad.
finding the marriage class was apart of his school year was a surprise and he’s not mad about it but he’s not happy about it either. he’s got so much to focus on he’s not really sure why he needs to focus on this as well. however being partnered with an old friend is interesting but he knows her reputation that is the part he’s not looking forward to.
CONNECTIONS
the social warrior: his marriage partner. he knows her. he grew up with her. and now she’s loud and abrasive and literally hates his guts. she thinks he is everything she is fighting against and sometimes he can never get in a word to defend himself. they were friends once, a long time ago. but now they have to be partners and he is willing to try it out, he is willing to make this experience enjoyable and try. but he only has so much patience and she can go on and on. he knows how a bad marriage works so he doesn’t want to just lock himself in a room, he wants to try, even if it’s an uphill battle.
ex-girlfriend: they broke up. well he broke up with her. he can be self centered, but he is always well meaning. he has grown up and tried to mature. he’s always felt like she’s trying to stay in time forever when he wants to continue to grow. he’s been avoiding her and he’s glad that he didn’t get paired with her. it might have been easier but it also might have made him lose his mind.
partner: they match him in intelligence. they pair up in labs because they have learned how each other works and their projects always come out better then the rest. they would but heads about who is right and who is wrong but it’s always friendly and they say sorry without ever saying sorry.

jiah was adopted when she was only a year old, her biological mother, a single teenage mom, not having the resources to take care of a young child on her own giving up her baby girl with pain in her heart. growing up with her adoptive parents, a young gay couple, jiah got everything she wanted. she was very loved by both her mothers and loved them back just as much.
with both her mothers being politicians, the girl early on learned a lot about life and how people treat each other, the unfairness of the world upsetting her greatly. wanting to be a light for others jiah has always been very loved by everyone around her. trying her best to help out everyone as much as she can, she often places her own needs aside in order to help others.
jiah always finds a reason to smile, she tends to look for the good in people and tries to enjoy life to its fullest. no matter how grave the situation, jiah will stay positive, believing things will get better.

HISTORY
Jameson was born the son of two well known florists. The flower shop had run in his father’s family, passed down from generation to generation. Their family wasn’t very rich, but they were happy and had enough to do a little better than just getting by.
Growing up, his mother kept him busy with different jobs in the shop or after school activities.
He had always enjoyed school, mostly because he was a fairly social kid and had a close group of friends. Classes were easy, as he was relatively smart, and having things to do after school made life a bit more entertaining. However, none of it compared to his best friend Lulu. If there was anything in his life that kept things exciting, it was her.
They had met as kids and had been friends since. He was always there to help her when she needed it, and she did the same for him.
When Jameson was fifteen, when his father was sent to jail for robbery after trying to rob one of the major banks a couple towns over. His mother was devastated, but she stuck by his father’s side and continued to raise their son, waiting for him to come home.
Jameson had turned to Lulu when his father was taken away, happy to have someone to turn to during everything.
With his dad gone, Jameson stepped up to be the man of his house, getting a couple jobs in order to help around the house. His after-school activities had died out, and soon he was mostly just working and trying to get a scholarship to school.
Once he finished with school, he was offered a scholar ship to River Valley University, studying criminal justice. Something some people don’t really believe is that he was wanting to pursue that before his father was sent to jail.
School seemed to be going pretty much the same until he saw some new class on his class list for this year, and found out that his partner was none other that his best friend. Part of him knew there were always feelings for Lulu deep down, but never anything he even entertained. Although, he can’t help but wonder if he’ll actually be able to keep them hidden while pretending to be married to her.
CONNECTIONS
The Broken Bird – Jameson met Lulu when her and her mother had come into his family’s shop one day. She was different, but interesting. Like it was written in the stars, the two of them have been best friends. Where you found one, you soon found the other. There was one point when they were younger that he wondered if she’d ever want more, but he decided to bury those feelings as far down as possible. More out of the fear of hurting their friendship that being turned down. When she left he was sad, but made sure to write her as much as possible. Now she’s not only back, but is to be his wife in this class. He’s nervous as to what this might bring for them, but at least he’ll have his best friend at his side.
The Addict – Jameson isn’t very close with him, but he takes his time to help him when he calls. He does enough to get them out of trouble, but that’s where he draws the line. When it comes to thinks like that, he tries to stay as far away from it as possible.
The Siren – Her call had brought him in, and tore him apart. Jameson didn’t fall for many people, but she was one of them. There was something about her that kept him intrigued and coming back for more, until he decided that it just wasn’t worth it anymore. He’s still nice to her when they pass, but he’s careful not to let himself get in his head again.
The Survivor – On a small level, Jameson feels like he can relate to some of the things she’s dealt with, or possibly some of the motions she’s had. He tries to be helpful and support his friend when he can, knowing that sometimes you need to focus on yourself in order to move on in your life.

HISTORY
born the second child of genevieve and arthur mason, elliot was the couple’s only daughter. not that they had been expecting a girl, though they stuck with their chosen name (after her maternal uncle) all the same. For seven years the family flourished, love and happiness filling their home. Sadly, it wasn’t a joy that was meant to last, as Genevieve and Arthur died in a car accident in late January about fifteen years ago.
Following the death of their parents, Elliot and her brother moved in with the very uncle she’d been named after. It was this man who instilled a love of the cosmos in the girl. He worked for nasa at the time, and was constantly sharing stories with the kids. While her brother eventually grew bored with the talk of space, Eliot never lost that affinity for all things celestial. She was always asking her uncle for the latest updates, and the few times he’d taken her with him to work had felt like being set free in a candy shop.
When it came time to start thinking about college, the choice in major was clear. Elliot had been working towards a career in astrobiology for years, though she knew not many schools offered the specific science as a major. Instead she opted for the more consistently offered astronomy. It would still set her on the right path, which would suffice, and she could pick up a minor in biology to pick up on that aspect.

HISTORY
When she was younger she always thought she had it easier, she was an only child and was raised by her single mother. Later on she had realised she was adopted, she didn’t take this in a bad way and she embraces it. She knows that having being adopted has given her the chance to be a different person, but she knows that her birth mother had another child, an older sister to Venus, but she still decided to not keep her. Thinking about that everyday hurts Venus it makes her question many things.
Venus grew up in a large, a city where people come and go. Sometimes it was always hard to make friends because sometimes she’d wonder if there was a point if everyone was going to leave one day. It had caused her to have a distrust in some relationships because deep down in the back of her head she thinks that they’ll just leave her and replace her the moment they can. Making connections was hard for her but when she was able to make one she’d always try her best to make it stick, even if the other person won’t try as hard - she’ll always do her best.
She had gone through trauma by her friends and ex boyfriends before and it makes her stay up at night thinking about it, always wanting to get those images out of her mind. Always looking for an escape she looked to art - photography, painting, film, singing. She only wanted to be able to express herself in her own way happily.
Venus has a creative mind, she was embraced with the arts at a young age as she grew up in an artistic environment with her mother and her colleagues were all in those fields. It had showed her who she wanted to be when she was older and she didn’t want to take no as an answer knowing how hard this line of work is.
Venus has always been told she has a heart of gold and that she would literally do anything for the person she cared about. They’re not wrong, she really would - she would go to far and beyond for a person she loved. She has always wanted the best for everyone, for her it’s almost impossible to say no to someone if they haven’t ever really hurt her.

“The Ebullient” - having met at the university in their first year, the girls were both sold on each other, quickly deciding they were best friends and never going back on their decision to stick together.

HISTORY
Liam has always been told that he lacks the drive and ambition, his family has always pointed that out towards him. However, it’s nothing which he tries to fix he lets it just happen and he’ll sit there and listen to what they would say about him.
One thing he would have a drive towards making everyone happy. He would even do it out of his own expense of his own happiness and kowtow to every order and insult he’s given - no matter how ridiculous or unfair it is on him.
Sometimes he just feels lost and is just unsure what to do so he looks into validation from other people, he just doesn’t think for himself and would rather let other people think for him.
He is always told he needs to grow his own back-bone and stand up for himself but sometimes he doesn’t think he needs to. He enjoys taking orders from other people.
When Liam feels like he oversteps anything he instantly starts to feel upset and starts to apologies a lot. He never wants to be the one that caused any problems or drama between anyone. He is just over the top with generosity and care towards other people.
