Summer Shred 2020
Alright guys I know I have said it before but this time I have a wedding dress I need to fit into so, yesterday I started a new challenge and I planning to document it here on Tumblr as well as on my Instagram. The challenge I have started is by Chloe Ting and it is a 4 week home workout shred. It is on YouTube and completely free. You can find the program at this link: Chloe Ting Summer Shred Challenge . I just completed my second day of this challenge but I did take before photos and take measurements yesterday before I started. I honestly have high hopes for this and really hope I can stick to it. I do have two accountability partners so that should definitely help. I know I am only on day 2 but so far these workouts are kicking my booty! Here is to a fit future! Wish me luck!

Okay so I know I just checked in on Tuesday but today is my actual check in for the challenge so I am going to check in here again. I went backwards on weight unfortunately, but I made progress almost everywhere else. Also, I screwed up my knees on Monday and I have not been able to do any lower body or cardio since...which is extremely unfortunate because cardio is what I need the most. So I am hoping my knees are healed up by Monday at the latest, otherwise I may need to talk to a doctor. Okay so here are my stats, again this depicts the change from Day 1 to Day 47. Weight : -3.1 lbs Biceps : -0.25″ Chest : -1.5“ Waist : -2.75“ Over Belly : -3“ Thighs : 0“ Hips : -1″

It has been over a month since I have checked-in with you guys here on Tumblr. But I have been doing weekly a weekly check-in with the challenge I am in. We are coming up to the end pretty fast!!! I believe next weekend will be the last check in for the challenge. I still love this challenge and it is still kicking my ass!! However, I have fallen off the band wagon a bit when it comes to tracking my macros. It drives me insane. I def need to get back on track with that, because I feel it is the reason I have not seen as much progress as I had hope. So here is an update as of this past Friday. This depicts the change from Day 1 to Day 40. I am now on Day 44. Weight : -4 lbs Biceps : -0.5″ Chest : -1.25“ Waist : -1.75“ Over Belly : -2“ Thighs : +.25“ Hips : -1.25″

The shift is here!!! So as I said in my last post I joined a challenge. I am now in the middle of week 2. I love this challenge so far, and it is certainly kicking my ass!! I cannot wait for the end of week 8 to see my final results. I weigh in and measure and take photos every Friday for this challenge and last Friday there were changes and I cannot wait to see what this Friday brings. So as an update since I started this challenge as of last Friday here are my changes. Weight : -1.7 lbs Biceps : -0.5″ Chest : -1“ Waist : -0.5“ Over Belly : -1.5“ Thighs : 0“ Hips : -1.25″ I cannot wait to see what my next check in holds!
Monday July 9th, 2018
A shift is coming. Okay! So I have still been working out three days a week for twelve weeks now. I have not made any progress in weight and hardly any progress in measurements. I however have not really adjusted my food intake appropriately and I am sick of not seeing and improvement. Therefore, on Saturday night I decided to join a Challenge. Called the True Strength Summer Challenge. It is an 8 week challenge and it is 100 plant based. They give you a meal plan and a five day workout plan. Today is Day One, and I am excited for this challenge and I really hope I see some great results at the end of this challenge in August. So here goes nothing!

Tuesday June 5th, 2018
Welp, last week was an all around tough one for me. I only got one actual workout in, on Wednesday. But this week is a new week and I am treating it like I am starting over. I am working on improving my food intake. What types of foods I am eating and my portions. I am also increasing the cardio I do to start and then I want to go back to primarily weight lifting. I weighed in this morning at 195.1. That is 100% the wrong direction. My first goal is to break 190. Ideally by the end of the month. Here’s to not giving up.
The Weekend May 14th, 2018
Welp the weekends are definitely a weakness for me. They get me every time. Friday we went out with friends to dinner and the arcade. We went to Olive Garden for dinner and I basically carbo loaded. Saturday was a kitchen cleaning day so at least I wasn’t sitting around all day. We went to the grocery store and I cleaned but I did not eat regular meals or very healthy. Sunday was Mother’s Day so I made breakfast for my mom. Which included Pancakes (Vegan so I can eat them), sausages, cinnamon rolls and donuts. I only ate the pancakes with less syrup that I usually do but still lots of carbs and then I had Chipotle for dinner with extra guacamole and chip... wasn’t the WORST weekend but wasn’t great, when it came to food. But today is a new day and a new week! Back to the gym tonight for legs, abs and cardio here we go! Oh I also weighed in and measured this morning. Since the start of this journey I am down or steady in most places. I am not happy with some measurements but proud of others. My weight hasn’t changed much, but my waist has dropped 2 inches in 4 weeks and my hips have dropped 1 inch. progress is progress thought and I have to keep on trucking on!
The End of Week Four - May 11th 2018
Guys! We did it!! We achieved our first goal! We went to the gym and worked out three times a week for four weeks straight!! That is twelve workouts! Just over halfway to creating a habit! Not only did we do that but we also reached 1000 yards in the pool last night and I felt that was worth celebrating! We went into our workout last night with the goal of 900 yards. Well when we finished the 900 yards I felt I had another 100 in me so we did another 100 and I felt so accomplished! Today I am feeling so proud that we stuck it out these past four weeks but that we also pushed ourselves another 100 yards last night! I am really looking forward to being off this weekend but I also cannot wait to get back to the gym on Monday! I also cannot wait to measure on Sunday! I did not have much change last weekend but I am hoping I do this weekend. But if I do not, that is okay. Progress is progress and we have to keep going! Now that we have achieved our four week goal we get to reward ourselves with pedicures! I cannot wait to go! Now we need to try and figure out a new goal and reward!
The Plan - May 9th 2018
Okay now that I have updated my page, it is time to share the plan so far. My friend (her name is Stephanie) and I have both decided that clearly working out alone is NOT working. So we are not accountability partners, we will be doing this together. Our plan right now is to workout three times a week at 6:30, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. We are currently on week four and are about to achieve our first goal! Which is to workout three times a week for four weeks straight. When we do that we get to reward ourselves with pedicures. We have two workouts left until we have earned that reward, tonight and tomorrow and I CANNOT wait! I have been dying for a pedicure, especially now that it is finally nice out! Also as of right now our routine is as follows: Monday = LEG DAY! Wednesday = Upper Body Thursday = Swim (Cardio)
We are both individually working on our eating habits, because they are awful but that are also very different from each other. Anyways that is where we are right now. We have made a teeny bit of progress but progress is progress we are doing more than we were 4 weeks ago and I am so proud of us for that. Now we just need to stick to it and reach our goals! Also, if you are reading my blog thank you so much!! And if you have any advice or guidance you would like to give it is greatly appreciated!!
