Why the SR System needs to be reworked

(This is just my Opinion!!)

The SR System is just garbage. SR stands for Skill Rating but it has nothing to do with your Skill. Your SR isn't determined by your performance. It is determined by the performance of your whole team. And this is garbage. You can play as good as you want but if your team is throwing you will loose your SR. This is just unfair. I know that this is a Team-Game but it's unfair to punish everyone just because two guys couldn't get to play their mains.

But it's difficult to solve this. You can't say if someone is throwing or if they just can't play better. I would appreciate it if they would re-name it to something like "Team Rating". The Team-Rating would be something that shows how good your are performing in a Team and if you can win with a team under different compositions. The “Skill Rating” should be determined by only YOUR performance. That means what medals you have. For example: Someone is losing but has 3 gold medals he only loses like 3 - 10 SR (depends on your current rank) and someone who has 0 medals loses something like 20 - 33 SR. This definitely needs to be polished but I think you get the Idea. Your Rank would be determined by both your Skill Rating and your Team Rating.

Overwatch Halloween Terror 2018

We already got a few leaks for the events “Halloween Terror” and “Winter Wonderland” So I just wanted to collect a few leaks and share my thoughts. In this post I’m going to say a few things about the Halloween Terror 2018.

The Starting Date

I think most people already knew this but the starting dates were leaked by Kellogs. It says that the event will start on the 10.10.2018 but I think this is wrong. The first reason is - the 10.10 is a wednesday. Blizzard tends to release events either on tuesdays or on thursdays. I mean it could be that they are going to release it on a wednesday but it’s pretty unlikely. This second reason could just be a coincidence but if you have Twitch Prime you can get free stuff in games like Fortnite, PUBG, Warframe and Overwatch. If you go and want to get your free golden Lootbox which you can get this time, it says that this item is only available until the 8.10.2018. Like I said this could just be a coincidence but it also could be that after that reward you can get a free golden Halloween Lootbox.

So my guess would be that the event starts on the 9th October 2018

The Skins

On Blizzards website you could see the names of 4 Skins which are going to be released

Spider Queen

Bride

Ghost

Slasher

First I am going to list all the Heros who have got no Halloween Skin so far. Those are:

Brigitte, D.va, Doomfist, Genji, Lucio, Moira, Orisa, Sombra, Tracer, Widowmaker, Winston and Hammond.

These character have the highest chance to get a Halloween Skin. Even though it’s not unlikely that a charaker who already got one could get another one but I wont include them here.

First Spider Queen. I don’t know why but so many people think that this is going to be an Orisa Skin. But you have to keep in mind: That is only an epic skin. Epic skins are mostly just recolored versions of the default skin. I think this would be pretty lame on Orisa. If it would be a legendary I would totally say yes to Orisa but I am super unsure. It could fit Widowmaker so well but I mean why you name a skin Spider Queen and then make it epic. For Spider Queen I would go either for Orisa or Widowmaker.

Bride. This would be a SUPER good skin for Moira or Widowmaker. For Moira I would say something like the Bride of Doctor Junkenstein. This would be like a new enemy for the gamemode. For Widowmaker I mean she has that spray with her husband on their wedding day, she murdered her husband while he was sleeping, her skin is blue. She would be an A+ choice for the Bride. Something like a deadly Sniper Bride. (Plus she would look stunning in a wedding dress not like that Noodle Moira) Bride would be either Widowmaker or Moira.

For Ghost I don’t even have to think about. This is going to be Sombra. There are people saying Reaper but he already got 2 Skins for Halloween. Moira is also pretty unlikely because she just has that simple fade. Make Sombra a Ghost, please.

Slasher is Genji there is no other choice.

The Gamemode

In 2016 and 2017 we had the Event “Junkensteins Revenge”. You were protecting the gate to a castle from Doctor Junkenstein and his allies as either McCree, Hanzo, Soldier or Ana. 2017 they added the endless mode which allowed you to play on waves where even more enemys appeared. For this year I have absolutely no clue if we get something completly new. They could introduce new enemys to the already existing Junkensteins revenge. But many people said that the gamemode gets boring after quite a time and blizzard could add a new gamemode so I really can’t tell what they are going to do.

Okay Guys something that my friends and I were discussing about:

Is her friend (Idfk what his name is) going to be the next Hero?

So we dont have much evidence buuut in the last part of the short you can see Hana with her broken arm and leg repairing her mech. Her friend was sitting next to her and working on somethimg too.

So we know that Blizzard likes to give us small hints about the new heros and stuff and maybe he is going to be a new hero.

Maybe its like Brigittes release: She was shown in Reinhardts short and got released about 4 months after.

Or its like Hammonds release: Horizon Lunar Colony is out for over a year and we knew about Hammond for such a long time - and yet we got him as a playable hero just a few weeks ago.

Or we wont get him as a hero and I am just dumb

BUUUT

If he is going to be a playable hero what role is he going to be??

At this point I am not really sure because the last 3 heros we got were Tank/Support/Support but yet I think due to his personality he would be a great Support. But I dont think its soo unlikely that he could be a DPS hero. But I think that we need more supports and I would be glad to get a new one. He would be good either as a support or a DPS. A DPS could be a good way to make the game a bit more exciting. A support would be good to heal against aggressive pushes. He clearly is sad that he doesnt know that luxury of being a hero. He has such a great personality and clearly is a good friend to Hana. Plus he already is a great support to the team.

In conclusion:

He would be a great addition to the game and I would be glad about a new hero any time. I would love to have him as a new hero but I wont be dissappointed if we get another one.

BONUS

Did you saw how Hana friendzoned him. I almost pissed myself because I was laughing so hard. And for a moment he looked so sad (???idk???)

BTW DOES ANYONE KNOWS HIS NAME I SEARCHED IN THE INTERNET AND I FOUND N O T H I N G WOULD BE VERY COOL IF ANYONE COULD TELL ME
