ok ok so there were some differences in the anime's version of Lizzy's flashback i found interesting:
Like look at what this scene implies here. That Lizzy was grieving so much that she was stuck to the graves constantly until Ciel came back, like lifting off a curse. And she was still wearing black, which yes she should've been. I think it was odd that she didn't in the manga, but it was likely because she was told her fiance was back, so her mourning garbs weren't necessary.
Also I like how Ciel has to lean up to Lizzy here, showing her maturity/size is something he has to measure up to, so she makes sure to shorten that distance as much as possible.
Last detail, it's cute how instead of Ciel checking on Lizzy falling behind, he points out a dress she might like. Definitely shows how she associates her sacrifice with being rewarded with his affection.

Her hair, barely grown out since college, is completely disheveled and dirty. Her lips, despite her strong body, is trembling. Her eyes, still glowing with kindness and love, meet his. “Yes,” his whisper cuts the silence into pieces. His hands are the first to reach out to her, hesitantly grabbing the wet fabric of her dress. His face burrows into her shoulder, the hardness of her muscles against his cheek making him feel ridiculously calm. His hair is touchingly soft and smells musty when the pale girlish cheek touches it. His lips, unfortunately, are trembling too.
Elizabeth Midford: I don't want to hurt their feelings!
Ciel Phantomhive: Hurt their feel— do you just walk around all day, thinking about other people's feelings?
