In all honesty, I'm just happy that they didn't kill the hoh/deaf representation. Doctor Who isn't well known for treating their representatives very well as of late. Gay representation? Decapitated off camera. Transgender/Genderfluid? Evil (still lovable). Lesbian? They've actually represented this pretty well in the show, minus the whole Master/Slave vibe Vastra and Jenny accidentally gives off. Now with Pansexuality... Jack Harkness was great representation, died at least 1,392 times.

me too!!!! i really liked her and the relationship with her translator was really believable and cute. ♥♥ yeah, i’ve been miffed at the whole killing way too many people for no reason thing, too. haven’t really been too fond of that. i think it’s getting a bit out of hand, but somehow the rest of the episode is always able to balance it out and make it good again???? idk.

i just really, really love capaldi. i think he’s doing an amazing job, and i am so happy that he was chosen to be 12 ♥ i mean, despite that really stupid attitude he had in this episode here he was all “fuck everyone else but clara” and then was all “i save people” and i’m like “make up your mind dude i know you’re better than that who wrote this episode.”

Hey chaps. So, I’m back with another Doctor Who mock dvd cover.

This one was a present for my brother. Simple front cover, I know, but I’m more happy with the pictures on the back. Story isn’t too bad either.

So, ages ago, I made mock Doctor Who DVD covers as a hobby and for friends. This one here is my first one that took me years to complete, because I didn’t know what I wanted in the main cover image, let alone the back cover stuff. But eventually, I finished it, and my friend loved it.

This eventually spurred me on to make more mock covers, some with classic Doctors, others with myself or friends playing the Doctor.

I’m going to start posting the covers I’ve made for all to see, and hopefully make some new ones, depending on when I can sort out my image editing software.

I decided to show you the original, and the final image, just so you can see how I started and how I finished.

So, hopefully you all like them. What do you think?

The Doctor takes Charlie back in time to the High Renaissance to witness the most highly cultured period of art in history only to find that the artists of the era have been abducted. The Doctor and Charlie travel forward in time to find that the High Renaissance artists were not the only ones abducted but every world-renowned artist from then on. The world Charlie once knew is now a world of dead-eyed, passionless creatures. Doctor Who: Shredding Through Time

Had to draw this because of the trailer for season 9. Looking forward to seeing it in the context of whatever episode The Doctor rocking out appears in. I thought it was a neat little nod to Capaldi’s youth since he once was in a punk band with Craig Ferguson.
