° Renet doesn't have a full sense of smell; more accurately, she has hyposmia. She has a very poor sense of smell, which is why she feels quite comfortable in most places where there are unpleasant odors. This happened because of an incident in which she was suffocated for a long time, causing damage to her nervous system. This is not the only problem after prolonged hypoxia, just the most serious one.

° IN GENERAL, I really love drawing Renet between the ages of 16 and 24. It's an age that, well, isn't exactly the closest to me, but I feel comfortable with it.

° She likes listening to certain people. I mean just listening to their voices in the background, rather than really paying attention.

Her particular favorites are Mikey, Casey jr, Lita, basically kids babbling, and Raph.

She can listen to the others, but their voices are either too sharp and loud, or they babble too monotonously, which makes you think, or just for no reason.

I really enjoyed 2012 Karai’s snake mutation - so I wanted to design her with more snake motifs. I’ll have to re-do this sometime to a more complete drawing

Do you guys think Renet knew when Splinter would die? Do you think she had to deal with seeing Mikey be so happy and excited knowing what was to come? What about counting down the days until he'd call and she'd have to comfort him knowing that she could have prevented it but she didn't. Because she wasn't supposed to. Knowing that she could still go back and stop it but she won't.

This is my premise for my TLR Mikey x Renet spinoff; Mikey essentially gets really pissed at Renet for not telling or even trying to warn him about his entire family dying and they have a nasty break up and then years later he’s Ronin and things are different and he sort of misses Renet but can’t forgive her without feeling like he’s betraying his entire family for it. Angst mainly but I do want it to have a sort of happy ending idk, as happy as it can be with Mikey dying at the end lol
