after those words had left his mouth he recoiled. it became hard to breathe. all these feelings he always kept bottled in had been unbearable before and now he felt even more guilt for pleading for his friend not abandon him in his internal time of need— he should have not said anything! how could somebody be such a nuisance? he struggled to swallow. “n-nevermind.” his eyes darted around his bedroom for an escape. “i misspoke.” he lied with a shaky smile.

raising his hand to ghost over claudius’ face once more, josh let a small chuckle leave his lips. josh gave him a tiny nod. “of course i do.” he spoke out in a soft voice. josh had no idea when he fell this hard for him and honestly, josh didn’t mind. the shy boy brought out a curious side of josh. “you’re amazing.”

the corners of his lips slowly inched their way back up as he looked at the other, hand reaching out to touch the side of the face. as softly as he could, josh didn’t want to startle the boy, ghosting his fingers over his skin. “well.” josh started, moving himself so he was closer to the other. “you are way more than average.” the genuine smile that moved over his feathers as he looked at them. normally, he was a little more forward, flirting so much more. but with claudius?? he didn’t want to risk losing him. 

to say cladius wasn’t allured by this predicament would be a ridiculous lie. all he could do was begin to nervously giggle when joshua scooted closer to him and used the charming voice— and he couldn’t even begin to explain that beautiful smile on his face. thus what else could he really do in this situation? “i-is that true??” he stuttered out with a blush on his features. “u-uhm.. i think you’re out of this world.” // @egctstc​

josh slowly titled his head to the side as he looked at claudius, his smile fading from his lips at their words. “oh??” he spoke in a soft tone. josh honestly thought claudius was one of the most attractive people he had seen lately. “why isn’t it??”
