[clearly experiencing symptoms of mania] oh i get it! im finally normal!
never going to be over that time I was trying to explain polyamory to my mum, and she said "I just don't understand how someone could be in love with two people at once" and I gave her my the-cognitive-dissonance-is-causing-me-physical-pain face and she said "what??" and I very quietly said "mother....you had an affair...."
One of my all-time favorites
I can't believe he's dead. It feels like just yesterday Lindsay Graham and I were just young boys playing down by the creek. "CT buddy, one day I'm gonna start a war with Iran" he would tell me, "and then by god I'm gonna immediately lose and die." Well look where we are now old friend. Look where we are now.
[doesn't understand jacking off] and I'm supposed to... touch my penis? [shaking my head and smiling, murmuring to myself] touching my own penis... [chuckles] what will they come up with next
if i didnt know who these characters were i’d say its a french indie gay romantic drama that is playing a little too heavily with color symbolism
i think about this post like. once a week. and i mean that.

i find the concept of actors who had a minor career when they were very young but only hit their real stride in older age (specifically 60+) to be very fascinating. angela lansbury had a decent amount of roles but nothing crazy when she was younger, but made a career playing old ladies for like 40 years (she was only 59 when murder she wrote started and played an old lady as miss marple at 55)
Help
i hate my job but it gave me my new roommate who listens to the magnus archives and a coworker i successfully convinced to listen to fantasy high. big win for the fiction podcast side of me
