A thing I feel like the Cult of the Lamb fandom is missing out on is that, while the Bishops have "set" roles in the pantheon - He of Havoc, he of Blight she of Hunger they of Might - a lot of times ancient gods had multiple roles to fulfill.

Example: Poseidon was the god of the Sea, but he could also cause earthquakes. Artemis wasn't just the goddess of hunt, she also protected pregnant women and children. Apollo's domain extended from poetry to medicine to the sun.

AND it's also canonical to cotl itself, as Shamura admits they rule over multiple domains (war AND knowledge)

So I think everyone should get more creative and give the Bishops even more stuff to do. Here's how I'm going about it in the context of my AU

Kallamar: God of Pestilence, the Sea (and ocean), patron of the arts and crafts (especially goldsmithing), protector of marriage (he's had many, supposedly, successful marriages in my AU)

Heket: Goddess of Famine but also abundance, fertility, protector of pregnancies (or eggs, in this case) invoked to have many children. She could also be associated with fire (red, fire is used for cooking, ashes are super fertile) and the weather (bad weather can compromise a whole year's worth of food)

Leshy: God of Chaos, nature, invoked alongside Heket to have good weather, protector of children and those lost in the woods. He could also play the part of a trickster god

Shamura: Deity of Knowledge and War (so strategy!). Their domains might extend further to blacksmithing (used to make weapons) but also less grand things like bookbinding, textiles, scribes

Narinder: God of Death BUT I think it would also be funny if people invoked him during difficult births, as protection against infant death. He would watch over newborns for the first year, as that is the most delicate time. Narinder could also be the god of sleep and dreams (what is sleep if not death lite™️) the night, invoked alongside Yngya during winter (winter is the "dead" season). Forneus should be the Persephone to his Hades shftksbdrh.

I'm Gela, also known as acoraxia, formerly known as wolfloupen, and I've been struggling with domestic abuse for nearly all my life. It's gotten to the point where I find my dad sleeping in my bed when I'm in bed, my mom gaslighting me into giving her money and never getting it paid back and playing housewife for my dad whenever my mom becomes emotionally unavailable.

My mother has admitted to being abusive for the sake of it and my dad doesn't do anything to defend me from her, sometimes even joining her or making the situation worse. They weren't there to protect me when I was sexually assaulted and even tried to make me empathize with them when my abuser died. My extended family is always on their side and I've been called spoiled and selfish all my life for wanting some privacy and respect out of them.

My parents have been preventing me from maintaining a job. I get some money left over from financial aid but I've been putting that aside to help me save up to move.
