yesterday I got the "are you a boy or are you a girl" question from a six-year-old, and I told her that some people aren't boys or girls (like me!) I was expecting her to be a little confused, but she nodded thoughtfully and said, "wow, just like snails."

Now that I've given it, I can post pics of the little Plague Knight I made my brother. XD So, if you don't know, Plague Knight is a character in Shovel Knight and my brother likes him (and can you blame him? He looks lush!)

And me, being extra, decided to crochet him one. Found a pattern for a plague doctor, and used it as a base.

Did I mention how much I dislike crocheting in black? It made sense though!

I crocheted when I could.

It was only after I started trying to put the safety eyes in that I realised my mistake. It was blinking awkward! Worth it though...

Then a few bits got changed, and I gave him a hood...

And that's how I crocheted a tiny version of the Plague Knight for my brother for Christmas! :)

Yup, deffo using a 2mm. The blue flower was either a 2.5mm or a 3mm flower. XD

Why do I keep looking at baby knits? Knitting tiny things is just as awkward as knitting not tiny things!

That's a baby gift just about done... Might add a row or two. But nice to practice join-as-you-go joining. XD
