Close-ups on a handspun, hand-knit infinity scarf I made recently! The wool fiber came in five 1oz colorways that I spun individually and then knit in stripes. Very autumnal. Very powerful.

Got this locally dyed wool at the coast in October! I was so hyped that the LYS we found had spinning stuff. Colorway is Stargazer on rambouillet by Hearth Rest. So soft so bounce so pretty colors 🐑 chain plied to maintain the gradient
Started spinning up this green fibre my American friend sent me a while ago, I have a decent amount of this to spin up o3o
Didn't realise that my yarn spinning would be what people would be interested in. So Kai got me an Ashford Kiwi traditional spinning wheel for me as an early Christmas gift and I have become obsessed with making vibrant yarn.. Hopefully some might even be used for some projects.
I had wanted a traditional spinning wheel for a long time and honestly I wished I had it sooner because just being involved in such a craft with a lot of history, has actually helped my mental health.
From single to finished yarn! I feel in love with this merino fiber years ago at a fiber festival and just recently got around to spin it with work and grad school.
1. Singles pictured with another spin
2. Chain plied resting on the bobbin
3. Before finishing
4 & 5. Finished yarn; soaked, snapped, and thwacked
A little decorative scarf using some handspun. I’m up to splitting for the keyhole section. This is either destined for the 2026 Royal or will be entered into next years local competition - totally depends on how another keyhole scarf I’m planning next turns out.
Let’s be colorful with Mama
Happy Pride!
