Yet another reminder not to have your rats/mice/hamsters/birds/other small animals interact with your cats/dogs because:

It stresses out the small animals.

You may think your cats/dogs would never harm your small animal, but you can never be 100% sure. Don’t take that chance.

Even the most well-behaved cats/dogs can harm a small animal by accident.

Cat saliva has bacteria in it that can kill birds.
