Pills? Or Happiness.
So one of my new commitments is not dieting anymore but making decisions for a healthier permanent lasting lifestyle. To take control with God of my soul, mind, and body. The more I’m eating better and the more I hear people and their opinions about healthy living the more I’m molded into who I want to be and what is best for me. I used to be the person who thought a pill could make me lose weight but I would feel terrible, unhappy, and in reality will I forever be popping pills in my mouth to keep up? I think about people who think this way because “eating healthy” is too hard or not to their liking. I think about it this way Taking pills for diet: 1. You don’t have self control or don’t want to. 2. You can’t possibly be happy. 3. You are not self disciplined. 4. You are forever gonna be popping pills into your mouth. 5. Pill side effect 6. What happens after the pills run out? 7. Expensive!!!
Healthy exercise and healthy food intake:
1. You take charge of what goes in your body. 2. Guess what I eat 5 TIMES A DAY! 3. I feel happy 4. I feel great and with more energy 5. I get my nutrients from the food I eat. 6. I’m losing weight without side effects. 7. I’m not just losing weight I’m getting stronger! 8. Less money spent 9. Lowering the risk of diseases. 10. Becoming disciplined 11. Not being scared of food and enjoying it. 12. Self confidence boost 13. Relieves stress 14. It’s more about how I feel than how much I’m gonna weigh at the end.
Here’s the thing I know what it’s like to take a pill and lose weight so fast but feeling internally Ill and unhappy. Not only that but it didn’t help me learn how to eat to maintain, it didn’t help me learn what to put in my body, it didn’t help me keep a permanent healthy lifestyle. It didn’t mold me. Don’t get me wrong vitamins are fine I’m talking about all these fatburner, increase metabolic rate, suppress hunger pills. Like ARE YOU SERIOUS! Our bodies are design to eat!Thanks to my mentor in my journey I understand that. The less you feed your body the more it retains and the slower your metabolism also if u don’t exercise. But don’t go out and get a cheese burger 5time a day or three that’s not what I’m saying. Talking about healthy food here. I also used to think I didn’t have time to exercise and prep my food, here’s the secret I TOTALLY DID! But I was putting my time and effort in things that were useless. Watching TV, playing a video game, or just simply wasting time. I realized yes I do have 1hr everyday to work out, yes I do have time once a week to prep my food. And if it happened to be that I didn’t then I’ll find the time. Instead of looking through my Instagram or Facebook feed stalking on people (jk) before bed for like two hours I’ll prep my meal.
So here’s the deal my dear family and friends I love you all very much and want you to live a healthy life without having to have someone take care of you. A life not thinking about taking pills or being disappointed in how you feel. This is not about only losing weight anymore, which is a perk from it, but about being happy.
