a few months ago, i decided to take a break for tumblr for an unspecified amount of time
and honestly, i don't feel like coming back anytime soon
don't get me wrong, i miss being able to interact with mutuals through this website, this platform, interacting with this community. i've made many awesome and fun memories with yall and i really wanna get back to that, i have so much to share with yall, so much to yap about
but i feel if i were to actually return, i'd have to continue posting art and my relationship with my art specifically, with whatever i create, has been kinda negative really or the past 3 months. i can't seem to start a drawing without getting extremely frustrated and throwing my pencil at the wall. i just can't seem to be okay with whatever i put out and i know that is a normal experience when it comes to growing in art but i'd feel so freaking bad if i were to return without being able to offer anything and my blog has mostly been me posting art of my ocs
this is probably stupid and may come off as attention-seeking
and in all honesty, maybe that is what i'm doing, maybe i am looking for some approval to be able to come back into this community without having anything to offer, maybe i am looking for soothing comforting words to feel good about myself, maybe that is what i'm doing
i don't know, i've just been so tired and now that a new chapter of my life has started, so much has happened and so much is about to happen, i hope i'd be able to come back to this community without feeling the need to post a doodle everyday like what i did last time
on a lighter note, i've recently gotten into anime back in december of last year, and in the span of about 6 months, i have been exposed to so much good anime that i regret ever putting anime down just after one bad experience with a certain anime
