@jessicamathewsbooks joined me at Barnes and Noble and brought us Happy Meals (b/c they’re 3 bucks each and enough food for dinner) and each of our meals came with a different pokemon so we had our tiny friends pokebattle.

It’s Friday the 13th and Londo and I are watching Friday the 13th. 

L: “Why was there no plot in this movie?”

Me: “There was plot.”

L: “No, there was a twist. A twist is not a plot. We watch a bunch of children twitter around for 80% of the proceedings then lots of people die and then all of a sudden the plot arrives in a jeep. This is not storytelling.”

Me: “Are you a film critic or are you here to see people get stabbed through the throat and axed in the face?”

L: “Was I given a CHOICE!?”

Little Lennier takes an active role in fulfilling his sweet tooth, which is very large for someone so tiny

I told Little Lennier that we were going to do some baking for a potluck at school tomorrow.  Chocolate chip cookies are his favorite (he teaches Delenn how to bake them in my headcanon), but I decided we were going to be a little more adventurous today.  Behold: Strawberry Buttermilk Doughnuts with Buttermilk Glaze.  Little Lennier looked on at the recipe to help me stay on track.

We watched Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (”that OTHER show about people on a space station”) while we baked.  Be careful, Little Lennier - you could drown in that big bowl of doughnut batter!

Fresh from the oven (my apartment smelled AMAZING after making these!).

And covered in glaze!  Little Lennier wanted to eat one right then, but I told him he needed to wait until after dinner to have his dessert!  He pouted a little bit in his polite way.

In the meantime, I drank some grapefruit flavored wine (Trader Joe’s is a wonderful place) out of the cup given to my by my amazing sister, @ghosthorse0!  Thor (and especially his brother Loki) are another fandom love of mine.  None of that for you, Little Lennier - it’s going to make you very murderous and then very sick.  :(

Finally, doughnut time!  @tinylondoandfriends will be happy to know that Little Lennier is getting better at eating giant foods!  (The doughnuts are confirmed delicious, by the way - Little Lennier agrees!)

Little Lennier was so full from his massive doughnut that he went right to sleep.  Siegfried was very patient.  <3

Little Lennier: “This is tea, you say?” Me: “Yep.” Little Lennier: “But…it is cold.” Me: “Sweet tea, which is served iced, is a staple of Southern culture. Think of it as another learning experience!” Little Lennier: “All right. But again with the gigantic comestibles. I could go swimming in it! Except I would likely freeze…” *sips* “mmmmmm…very good!”

He has definitely developed a sweet tooth. ;)
