Hello!! You can call me Lynn.

I am nonbinary and use they / them pronouns, so please respect that.

I have epilepsy, ADHD, severe anxiety, and autism. They make some tasks hard, but writing helps me get through it.

Don't send me any flashing lights or strobes, anything that may strain my eyes, or even those optical illusions. They could hurt me due to my epilepsy.

One of my little typing things is that I put two spaces instead of one after a sentence. I can't really get rid of that, but I try to, so sometimes my paragraphs look weird.

I love writing and will write many things. I am open to some requests, which I will have more details about later.

My main interests and things I will write about;

• Thanos / Choi Su-Bong

• The Quarry

• Stranger Things (I won't write most characters in a romantic light).

• Murder Drones

• TADC (but some characters will only be written in a platonic light, again).

• Hunter X Hunter (Though I will most likely go based off of the 1999 version. In terms of personality and such.)

Some rules about anything that may be requested:

• I do not write smut. I am a minor, so I will not. I may write something a little suggestive, but I will not write anything more than that. By suggestive, I mean like little comments or something like that.

• I write a lot of x readers!! They're my favorite to write, and I also like to write headcanons.

• I've stated before that I may only write platonic for some situations, that's for personal reasons. If you have any questions about that, please message me privately for more about that!!

the little nightmares games are weirdly hopeful tbh

every kid who tries and fails to escape either leaves something behind that helps someone else get a little bit further (a bedsheet rope leading up a shear wall you'd never be able to climb on your own) (a flashlight)

or tries to help personally (ax smashing through door after door) (outstretched hand waiting to catch or drag away from that damn tv again) (food passed between the bars) (a sausage)

or leaves hopeful traces the current kid isn't alone, a small comfort in the dark (lanterns already lit and waiting) (a yellow rain jacket in a city full of rain) (just being there to meet at all no matter how shortly or how it all ends)

it's really.... sweet. sure, a lot of the character kids die or worse, but it never feels like it was pointless. what they did never feels HOPELESS

they had choices. they did things. they didn't get a happy ending but still made things a little bit better in some small tiny way, and someone else was there to see it. none of them are alone, even when they are

it feels good. the world around them is horrible but the part of it that's them feels good

Don’t look now but the *Cheerful* archetype has such a deep and abiding sense of duty and responsibility to the *Funny* archetype that despite confessing she hates him also still feels like it’s her fault he’s that way in the first place

no way! am i doing a longass analysis post even after i got shot 57 times from ep 6?

so most of my socials have been taken over by the mourning over a) funnybunny b) jax having a panic attack hence i'll be discussing those two points here, starting off with an analysis on our beloved jerkass rabbit, jax.

PART 1: LABELS AND ARCHETYPES

i don't think people are understanding how IMPORTANT his archetype monologue was.

he proceeds to tell pomni the following in their bedroom hallway.

"Ragatha's the cheerful one, Gangle's the sad one, Kinger's the crazy one, Zooble's the grumpy one... we all just became archetypes."

which is really funny, considering ragatha, gangle, kinger, and zooble actually acted the opposite of jax's labeled archetypes. ragatha was internally panicking, terrified of the others hating her. gangle was actually happy for the most part, going feral once she had her tommy gun and smiling even after pomni killed her. kinger was LOCKED IN, giving some of the BEST advice to ragatha in the "loser" room. i swear i started tearing up. zooble was empathetic, being able to comfort gangle and explain how they are all humans, even if they're stuck in the circus. this shows how 2-dimensional and black and white jax's perspective can be. look at what he said below.

jax is doing his best to prove that he is "irredeemable". for him, the only way to prove himself right is to make everyone around him suffer. why? so the others could "push" him away and give him the validation or agreement that he's a bad person. unfortunately, he believes that what he is doing is "funny." he doesn't care how harmful his demeanor is towards others. why?????? bc he refuses to stray from the set archetype he has set for himself.

PART 2: MOMENT OF REALIZATION

we can see right off the bat in ep 6, jax and pomni are getting along, chatting and smiling before meeting zooble. i've seen people assume that jax is using pomni to upset ragatha, or intentionally trying to make her worse. but look at ragatha and jax's conversation below.

ragatha: "I-I-I know exactly what you're doing with Pomni, and it'll never work!" jax: "...huh?" ragatha: "You know, getting close with Pomni... to corrupt her?"

look below. he's genuinely confused about what ragatha said.

after jax accidentally shoots himself, he proceeds to shoot ragatha multiple times. he rapidly presses the trigger even after he runs out of bullets.

THIS is the moment we see jax's first vulnerability in ep 6. ragatha hit a nerve. this is when he realizes that he's getting closer to pomni, without him even knowing. and he despises that.

PART 3: SETTING BOUNDARIES

when pomni and jax are walking along the circus, pomni asks him questions about his fear of corn, discovering that he seems to have trypophobia. yet, when pomni says this:

jax immediately diverts the topic. he plants his walls back up, afraid to form a proper connection with pomni. but, does this mean he didn't enjoy their short friendship? no. look at how he and pomni interact together during ep 6.

whether you like funnybunny or not, you have to admit. jax sincerely seemed to enjoy pomni's company. he denies it later, but he was growing a genuine bond with her. i don't think i've ever seen him this content around others. i may be stretching this a bit too far, but he also shows care when pomni goes to catch zooble.

he seems surprised that pomni's this willing to win, even after they just got shot repeatedly by zooble.

and in that short moment, when he realizes he does care, he stares at kaufmo's abstracted door, scowling. and then his eyes dart over to ribbit's door.

jax's face freezes up instantly before he shakes his head, regaining his footing.

in my opinion, this is his "wake up call." he glances at the abstracted members, reminding himself that there's no point in getting closer to pomni. his internal dialogue may have been something like:

"She'll probably abstract in the end, just like the others. Why bother hurting myself all over again?"

now, let's go onto the... "breakup."

PART 4: ESTABLISHING IMMENSE DISTANCE

after jax and pomni win the game, pomni is estatic. and let me just remind you all that pomni is canonically TOUCH-AVERSE. yet what does she do? SHE HUGS JAX. WILLINGLY.

sorry, got a little sidetracked there. back to jax. anyways. look closely at how he reacts to her hug.

for a split second, we see him completely fine with pomni hugging him. he actually has a genuine, faint smile on his face. and then, he panics. he berates himself for growing closer to pomni, despite constantly setting personal reminders to build distance. so, he immediately pushes her off, scowling at her afterwards. look at how he reacts to her hug when he unwillingly realizes that he was fine with it.

in my opinion, his aggravated reaction in that moment isn't because he was mad at pomni, but at himself. jax seems to be criticizing himself internally, like

"Why did I let her grow closer?! That was so stupid of me!"

pomni looks hurt by his reaction, but she waves it off. i mean, it's jax. that reaction was... pretty normal. after a few moments of friendly chatter, pomni playfully declares that it's the "part where one of us betrays the other." as she says this, look at what jax is doing.

HE'S STARING AT THE HAND HE PUSHED HER AWAY WITH. for a few moments, he looks dazed, not registering what pomni said to him. why is he doing that? realistically, it might be because he's... surprised at her sudden hug? maybe contemplating over what he just got himself into? i really don't know. anyways here's the full clip of their... very intense fight.

after pomni jokes about them betraying each other, jax responds nonchalantly.

"Huh? Oh yeah. You can betray me."

pomni is surprised, albeit a bit startled that jax isn't joking along with her like he usually does. and this is when he starts acting absolutely SHITTY. when pomni admits that she doesn't want to shoot jax, he calls her lame, commenting how he "thought she was cool." and when pomni proposes that they could just win together as a team, what does the jerkass rabbit say?

"We're not a team, c'mon!"

this is the beginning of his deflection, where he downplays their growing bond and smashes it to the floor to smithereens. jax proceeds to say that instead of them growing closer, it was merely him "entertaining her because he thought it was funny." he then continuously insists for pomni to shoot him.

pomni pulling the trigger provides jax with twisted reassurance, serving as a confirmation for him to believe that pomni won't breach the closeness he fears. pomni is stunned by what he's requesting. confused, she asks:

"If I shoot you right now, are we still gonna be friends afterwards?"

and then, jax acts like an even BIGGER SHIT.

at this point, jax is directly expressing his regret for growing too close with pomni. this isn't because he was merely "using her" or "playing around with her." he's pushing her away because he wants to spare himself from the possible grief of losing her, especially after what happened to ribbit. at this point, pomni is rightfully PISSED. look at what she says:

"You're -- you're not gonna look me in the eye and tell me nothing we've been doing together meant anything to you, because I know that's not true!"

"Oh my god, can you take this seriously?! Can you take anything seriously?!"

when jax tries to joke, teasing that he doesn't have to take her seriously, she argues back:

pomni is rightfully mad. after finally getting the chance to grow closer to jax, even when she was distrustful of him in the past, he's pushing her away? that doesn't sit right with her (which is absolutely VALID). she's mad that when she actually started growing attached to him, HE backtracked and pushed her away. .

In episode six of The Amazing Digital Circus — Jax gets too real!

In all seriousness, this was completely fantastic to watch. It was such a good depiction of self destructive behaviors and Michael Kovach was PHENOMENAL.

His instant reaction to pomni hugging him was super telling. He wants to get closer to her, his behaviors show that clearly, but he fears it as well.

His regret after the outburst is also extremely telling.

This did not go as planned. He did not expect to get so close to her and have to push her so suddenly away. He didn’t want to push her away, but felt in this moment that he needed to, at all costs.

As much as he wants everyone to believe his actions were planned, they were IMPULSIVE.

As insistent as he was on telling Pomni that he didn’t care, that it was stupid to think that he might, Pomni was right when she pointed out that Jax wasn’t fighting back. He DID care.

He never hurt Pomni for his own fun at any point in this episode. His actions directly contradict what he’s trying to make Pomni believe. He hurts the others, so she might believe him. But he didn’t want to hurt her. Not anymore. The only time he hurt her on purpose was when he felt like he needed to push her away. But otherwise? He has shown that he doesn’t see her as something to torment. Jax sees Pomni as an equal, a friend.

His words are hollow.

Even his reaction to Ragathas “accusing” him of making friends with Pomni was extreme. Initially his uncaring expression threw Ragatha off, but once she was eliminated you can see that this is the moment Jax realized he was going too far — far past even his own personal boundaries — in forming a bond with Pomni.

Jax was lying the whole time he tried to make Pomni believe he didn’t care. He used all his tricks. Deflected with jokes, brushed off the intensity of the situation, made fun of Pomnis attempts to befriend him, he even tried to make her push him away first with the traitor bit.

Actually, he seems to be obsessed with the whole bit thing, don’t you think? The archetypes.

He thinks that fitting into the role of the circus will help him survive.

As if trying to maintain humanity whilst being deprived of it causes abstraction.

So he picks the perfect role to extract himself of any sort of sincerity or responsibility.

The comedian.

He uses it as a shield even if it damages his relationship with Pomni. And he tries to use Pomni’s humorously chosen role to his advantage, to get her to leave.

Pomni’s prying would humanize him. He would be too open, too vulnerable, too human. He won’t be able to play his role anymore. Or use it to protect his sanity.

If he had nothing beneath his cruel exterior, he wouldn’t have to beg Pomni to stop looking.

Jax knows that if she keeps looking, if she helps him open up, if she pursues his friendship despite his protests, he WILL break, and he WILL show her who he really is. He can’t resist getting close with someone because he — like everybody else — needs a friend.

So he had to make her stop.

Just a little rant. I saw a post here on Tumblr today saying there aren’t many explicit fics about Sangwoo, and I have to disagree.

Most of what I come across about him is pure smut. And not just him, but literally every Squid Game character.It feels like people can’t engage with any kind of content unless it’s sexual.

Just to be clear, I don’t have a problem with fics in that genre , I’ve read plenty and that’s totally fine.What bothers me is that I scroll through Tumblr hoping to find something angsty or fluff, and I just… can’t. It’s like the only thing people are able to consume lately is porn.

There’s nothing wrong with reading or writing that kind of fic, this is just me venting because I’m really tired of it :(

Being a reality shifter and knowing that other people like your s/o is so irritating.

Like, whenever I see an edit where someone is calling Thanos hot or whatever, it doesn't bother me. But seeing other people genuinely interested in being in a relationship does. "Oh my god, Thanos is my s/o too!!" I do NOT wanna hear about that.
