I finally got some breathing space to draw, so I got myself a new fountain pen to pamper myself. I doubt I’ll ever write much with it tho. The nib is rather “scratchy”. As a writing pen, it doesn’t write as smoothly as I would like. However.. as a drawing pen, it hits all the right spots for me. I absolutely love the colors too.

Hi all. Not much updates of late due to them mainly classified work. So here’s something I’ve been working now for a while now.

Generated all assets shown here. It's the first time I'm using 3D for environment.

Playing with the fountain pen & water brush combo again. Used an Indian ink marker for some color. Repeated use will stain my water brushes, so am using an old one just for this. Also added some gold ink.

Part of today's page of warm up sketches. Got a new fountain pen that comes with water soluble ink. Add a little water from a water brush pen and voila! 😃Downside, can't play with watercolours over it. 😑

Quick warm up doodle from yesterday. Not sure what her vocation might be tho. I just wanted her to weld a cinder block or granite block as a hammer. 😬

I guess this is a continuation of the previous theme? I think I’m falling in love with gold ink. Even though it is quite opaque straight out from the bottle, it can be diluted and used to create a variety of transparency. Too bad it doesn’t show up very well in photos.

Just randomly playing around with gold ink for the first time and some random papers I found laying around. Ran out of time so I guess this is probably as complete as it’ll get. :) Inking with a brush certainly needs steady hands.. (@_@)

Trying to pick up my drawing routine on commute again. (It's actually the only free time I have these days to draw something non work related. I kinda stopped due to the heavy stuff I have to carry. Was very lucky in getting a space to lean on today.

It’s been a rather long time I’ve posted here. Been busy with a few classified projects since the last time I posted. Anyhoo.. At least I can post this sketch. 😋 I’ve gotten this title recently and I must say.. The environments are just simply beautiful. This game needs to be seen on a big screen.

Callie (アオリ) - Splatoon Thanks to all who wrote me mail. I'll get to them soon hopefully. Inktober is almost over. Since the next theme is Pirates VS Ninjas, here is Callie as a pirate. Even though I'm still busy, I could not resist. Hope I'll have the time to draw Ninja Marie next.

Filmia (Legend of Legacy)

Still playing the demo. 😛 This guy reminds me of a less chaotic version of Mr Toad from The Wind in the Willows. He keeps the story lighthearted. 👍
