Pen to Paper
Chapter Six
Summary: A simple thesis on a simple book she’d read. That’s all she needed to do. She knew it would be at least a little bit arduous but she didn’t think it would cause this much trouble.
Pairing: Tim Murphy x original female character
Words: 2,706
A/N: thank you so much for four hundred followers! that’s insane, i love you all, sorry this update took so long to get here, i hope i don’t disappoint!

Julie was bad at making choices. Anything from picking what shoes to wear in the morning to big life changing decisions was hell for her. Truly. If it was between dying or picking one single ice cream flavour, she would probably die while trying to make up her mind.
All nighters at the museum were - apparently - a big deal, and since everybody was so busy, Janet picked Julie for snack duty. Bad decision. The list was objectively easy to anyone with the least bit of common sense, or so Dr Connors had thought. It read simply:

Summary: Pat Murray and Belle Ramos have been best friends for years. Nothing could come between them. Maybe except for some pesky romantic feelings.

Pat Murray x Original Female Character
Ten years ago…
A warm summer breeze blew across Belle’s face. The bright rays of the sun making her squint as she watched the other kids push each other around the playground. She sat by the sandbox, stick in hand, while she drew patterns onto the sand. A tree there and sun by the corner and a little girl in the middle. Belle admired her work and clutched the stick to her chest.
“That looks really cool.” A voice came from behind her. She turned and saw a boy about her age, peering over her shoulder. He had red hair that looked almost fiery in the summer sun. He held a small ball in his hand and dirt covered his forearms.

Eugene Sledge x Reader
Author’s Note: i’ve been writing this fic for two months and i’ve finally finished it. this is the longest fic i’ve ever written (standing at 5884 words oh my god) this kinda feels like my baby and i’m very proud of her. warnings of lots of mentions of war and all the sadness that comes from the horribleness of it. also this isn’t edited whatsoever so i’m sorry sjfsdkl i hope you enjoy this one!
The trees whirred past as you pedalled your way home. The wind was blowing through your hair and made the bottom of your skirts float a little. Excitement rushed through you at the prospect of being able to talk to your Eugene. The thought itself made you pedal harder until you saw the outline of your home. Huffing, you set your bike down and quickly entered the house. Your parents weren’t home yet so you were able to get to your room without any distractions.
You placed your small briefcase on the bed before you sat by your desk. A picture of Eugene and you sat at the center of the wooden table. It was taken in front of his house. The two of you stood on the steps in front of the patio. He stood a step above you and had his arms around you, trapping your arms in his hold. Both of you had beaming smiles on your faces. You could almost hear the laughter before the camera clicked, capturing the happy moment forever.

Jurassic Park changed Tim Murphy-Hammond’s life drastically. The carefree and happy boy became a closed-off wallflower, full of anxiety. He would forever carry the memories with him and when the sparkle of joy left his eyes, so did his childhood. His PTSD forced him to grow up at the tender age of nine, resulting in him feeling lonely and isolated because nobody understood him, or even tried to.
It took everything from him. The relationship with his parents, who were never there for Tim and Lex and thought their stories were made up. His carefree spirit. His happiness. But most of all, his opportunity to be a child.
Year after year, he and his sister felt unlived and clung together. He would sleep in Lex’s bed almost every night because he was terrified of his own mind and what it did to the once innocent boy. They were never allowed to talk to a therapist and therefore helped each other and created an unbreakable bond. Tim tried so hard to forget and let go of everything he had seen but found that he couldn’t. It was imprinted on his mind, like a tattoo that was forever painting someone’s skin.
Yet, the only thing he refused to let go of, was his love for dinosaurs. The most traumatic experience of his life became the only way for him to deal with the memories and anxiety that swirled like a storm through his mind and body. It took his mind off the trauma, his parents and his self-hatred. He had found that he could love the animals with his entire being, but he just couldn’t love himself.
But really, who could love a broken and hopeless man like him?

Disney World Imagines | Joe Mazzello
hey howdy hey, friends! this idea spawned from @queen-irl-af‘s amusement park imagine series. since i am the definition of a disnerd, it sparked headcanons for me that i came up with, based on her description. for my series, i ranked each park from most favorite to least favorite, described their all-around feelings/personality during a trip to disney, and then “visited” each park seperately to let you know what the ultimate day would consist of. I will also leave a description of the moodboard at the end of post!
I hope you enjoy! i would love your thoughts.
JOE’S FAVORITES (most - least)
Animal Kingdom
Magic Kingdom
Hollywood Studios
Epcot
He is the most willing to wear matching shirts and do character meet and greets with you. He’ll be the most passionate about a Disney Trip out of any of the guys.
Resort choice doesn’t matter much to him. If you’re feeling particularly magical, he’ll indulge your desire for the Little Mermaid Suite at Art of Animation or the Royal Guest Room at Port Orleans River Side. The BoardWalk is probably your shared favorite!
ANIMAL KINDOM My dude seems like he would like the World of Avatar and be really hyped on the idea of riding on the back of a Banshee during Flight of Passage. He really enjoys the beautiful, precise theming of this part of the park. His favorite ride is a toss up between Expedition Everest and Dinosaur (for obvious reasons). He always makes you fling a hair tie onto Mount Everest when you reach the broken tracks and he doesn’t care how scared you are of the Carnotaurus, you’re sitting closest to it! The Festival of the Lion King show is ALWAYS a must. Joe prefers to sit on the giraffe side because he likes the sound they make but he’s not exactly picky. The food underwhelms him at Animal Kingdom - he’d rather eat at the resort you’re staying at or at Disney Springs.
MAGIC KINDOM This guy is a Magic Kingdom PURIST if I ever saw one. His favorite rides are the Jungle Cruise for all of the jokes and Pirates of the Caribbean (because it’s the last ride Walt Disney took part in developing before he died). He also enjoys The Haunted Mansion, The Enchanted Tiki Room, The Hall of Presidents, Country Bear Jamboree, Splash Mountain, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and Peter Pan’s Flight. He needs at LEAST one Dole Whip during his visit. He’s not opposed to a Mickey Pretzel either. He pretends to by unamused by the Tangled Lantern photo op and will probably definitely share the photo on social media. He wraps his arms around you from behind and wipes away your tears while you watch Happily Ever After together, right in front of the castle. There will be a number of comments made throughout the day about how excited he is to bring your children there in the future.
HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS Probably a huge grumpy gills when it comes to Hollywood Studios, as it’s changed dramatically over the years. You lost count of how many times he made a comment about The Great Movie Ride being shut down in 2017. He loves Tower of Terror and Rock’n Rollercoaster, as well as The Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular and Muppet 3-D. He spends most time exploring Sunset Boulevard’s gift shops and food market. Toy Story Land underwhelms him and he hopes that Galaxy’s Edge will be more enjoyable (once it’s not super crowded); The Launch Bay will do for now! Dinner is always at ’50s Prime Time Cafe and he purposely doesn’t eat his vegetables so that his “cousin” scolds him for it. You ALWAYS catch Fantastmic, and it makes both of you emotional. There are probably a lot of kisses and hand holding during it.
EPCOT My boy is here to drink around the world and that’s Epcot’s main purpose for him. It is very hard to keep up with him because he has a high tolerance. He pretends he’s too cool to ride Frozen Ever After but is the one who is singing Let It Go by the time you reach Elsa’s palace. His favorite countries are Germany and France, and you usually prefer to eat at Biergarten. Spaceship Earth is his favorite ride and the Land Pavilion is his last and favorite stop in the park. He loves the Flower and Garden Festival for the character foliage and Violet Lemonade.
Moodboard, clockwise: The Festival of the Lion King, ‘50s Prime Time Cafe, Fantasmic, Frozen Ever After, Matching Tees, Dinosaur, Dole Whip, The Tangled Lantern, Violet Lemonade
Ok, but like he would also love Jellyrolls and would for sure want to go there on a Sunday night and enjoy the dueling pianos and singalong

Chapter Three
Summary: A simple thesis on a simple book she’d read. That’s all she needed to do. She knew it would be at least a little bit arduous but she didn’t think it would cause this much trouble.

A/N: i got the idea for this in the american natural history museum where i found a note to a Julie T from a Dr. Com on a bench near the t-rex room.
//
9AM in London, 4AM in New York. Julie wondered if she’d ever get used to this. At least her view was nice, everything else about her room - wasn’t. It was a tiny little bedroom with a lumpy bed and a bathroom that barely worked. She was sure she’d seen a couple of roaches move from between furniture but she didn’t ponder too much on that thought, it freaked her out beyond words. This was the price, the universe gave her an awesome opportunity and in return, she had to sleep in an infested room for a couple of months. No biggie.
The past two days at the museum had been unreal, everyone had treated her fine, she didn’t really mind the stares or the confusion in the librarian’s eyes when Julie asked her for a specific book on fossilisation. “Jeez, when was the last time you guys got a new addition to the team?” Julie had asked, to which Tim had only pointed at himself and shrugged, thanking Amanda for whatever she’d just given him.
