Lotta people are going back to school shopping, and I don't want to be a nuisance, however, for the sake of ecological justice, please do your due diligence when buying school supplies. I don't have a solution that doesn't involve creating localized commerce and industry, nothing concrete. I don't have a list of green art supplies. Yes, nylons and plastics are everywhere in products, and yeah, I'm guilty of hypocrisy, complicit in buying plastic products. However, you gotta start somewhere. Don't want to make a hard ask of people. Just please consider.
Don't be passive about buying nylon/plastic laced new backpacks, shoes or clothes. This supports oil/fossil fuel companies. Nylons and plastics are toxic, and people, the environment, kids should be protected from pollutants. Buy natural materials instead. Kids tend to waste their school supplies anyway.
Instead of buying acrylic paints, please teach them to use watercolours instead, WC paints are made of chalk.
Buy metal or wooden utensils, . Or buy raw materials, produce, if you can, make your own clothes,

Meaning to fix my laptop bag. Want to convert it into a simple briefcase, remove the busted zippers, it’s the perfect size, between luggage and carry on. I want to refurbish it, put some belt straps and buckles on it, maybe some back strap. Seems like a smart fix…
Why the devil didn’t I take my creative work onto apps over on my DS/3DS & Switch, laptop when it was most convenient, commited to that on the side? Oh bloody hell. There were apps and stuff all over the place, I should have branched the hell out. *sigh.* No use for it. I’m just kicking myself.

Trying to make a new bag. I disliked the book bag, because of its nylon, but loved it's design. I took it apart, but decided it was too much work for a beginner. Got stuck, so started from scratch. I took spare canvas, and cut it to the dimensions I wanted, like building a box. (I can't tell if it's poly-cotton, or polyester, I assumed it wasn't plastic, but may have to try again.) I wanted a natural material, I thought the canvas was.
Still, it's good practice. The thread for stitching is linen.
Oh wow, I took a year to get around to this, but it took me only two weeks to do. Still will require more work, and thread, want to build compartments, dye it. Some projects are more intimidating than they seem, it's a recurring lesson. Just have to get the ball rolling.

If you want to take direct action, can I suggest volunteering or doing relief work with the UN? There's also a link below to a petition to expel Amerika from the UN, which could allow other countries to sanction genocide enablers, and hopefully prosecute war them, other countries for war crimes, crimes against humanity.

I've been making more hand drawn pixel art, practicing rendering game sprites, and also copying Palestinian tatreez.
I made custom graph paper, you can get very detailed work from it. It's a bit redundant, but I think it'd be a nice change of pace. Maybe you can guess some games I played...
