i was listening to puppeteer from epic the musical and i noticed that the beginning of the song is the melody to “legendary” when telemachus sings “no idea if you’re dead or just too far.”

i’m not okay: ody is thinking about his dear son and how he’s “too far” at the beginning of the song. please no one talk to me.

i just finished the anime the royal tutor and it just goes to show that extroverts really do just pick up an introvert and hoist them along— or more of have that introverted, tiny man teach four princes how to be good people. 10/10 wholesome anime though!

rewatched a couple episodes of the spy x family anime and i just clocked a scene.

when anya got kidnapped in like… the first goddamn episode, there was a part where after she was safe, loid had a gun to the main bad guys head. and at one point, as he’s talking to the bad guy (edgar) loid is like “how is karen doing?” and edgar basically shits his pants and is like “how do you know about my daughter?” and loid, the absolute fucking menace says. “i know everything about her, edgar. her favorite foods, color, where she lives, who she’s friends with, and the placement of every mole on her body.”

BRO. loid just admitted to the bad guy that he slept with his daughter and basically played him like a damn fiddle. A MAN. A MAN.

i was going through the tags of epic the musical, i saw an amazing piece of art by @australet789 of odysseus.

it was beautiful, but it also reminded me that he was butt ass naked while he was killing them… like imagine seeing a naked man running towards you with a bow and arrow from the darkness. he gets closer and closer, and then you recognize him, “omg is that the king- OH MY GOD HE HAS HIS PENIS OUT-“ and then you get murdered.

that is the most humbling situation anyone could ever be in.

ok but when odysseus says "no" right when he shuts down that one suitor. you can almost hear the faintest smile. as if he's heard this song before. oh wait. he did. except this time, he's the ruthless one. for ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves.

i genuinely see why penelope basically crashes out at the end of “will you fall in love with me again” bc she’s waited 20 YEARS. she’s had to deal with 108 misogynistic suitors that wanted to kill her son. she’s had to unthread that damn shroud for over and over again just to redo it over and over again to keep them at bay. she’s been trying to be strong for her son and as to not show vulnerability.

and then her beloved husband finally comes back and starts YAPPING about if she could fall in love with him again bc of all he’s become and done.

so she’s like “DONT SAY YOU ARENT WHO YOU WERE! IVE BEEN WAITING WAITING WAITING WAITING WAITING WAITING WAITIN-“ and ody is like “penelope… 😥😣😦” like bro, READ THE ROOM KISS THAT WOMAN ON THE MOUTH
