The Collegiate Inventor's Competition was going on today at the US Patent and Trademark Office!  Congratulations to all teams -- your inventions looked wonderful!

Our team would like to thank the CIC for having us to the competition last year -- the event had a great impression on all of our team members.  We're happy that our team is still involved through volunteering -- Elizabeth presented & helped out at Camp Invention just a few months ago.  Looking forward to getting involved in more events and meeting talented young inventors!

Our team is ecstatic to say that we've been nominated for a Philly Geek Award -- Best I.R.L. (In Real Life) Project!  You can read about it on Newsworks and Geekadelphia.  We'll know in August if we've won!

We're happy to announce that the Titan Arm is one of 6 finalists in the 2013 Collegiate Inventors Competition.  We'll be traveling down to Alexandria, VA next month for the final competition.

Special shout out to Team HERALD from the University of Pennsylvania, who are also finalists!

Our team is ecstatic to report that our project has made the first cut in the international James Dyson Award competition.  We're part of the top 25% of projects entering the second round -- wish us luck!  Check out our project page.

TitanArm places 1st Runner Up in NIH Competition

We're honored that our project has received 1st Runner Up in the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Design by Biomedical Undergraduate Teams (DEBUT) Competition.  Our team competed in the category "Technology to Aid Underserved Populations and Individuals with Disabilities".

Cornell Cup -- Final Prep!

Our team is headed down to Disney tomorrow to compete in the Cornell Cup!  We'll be making some last minute tweaks tonight and then catching an early flight -- wish us luck!

Titan Arm takes 2nd Overall in Penn Engineering

Titan Arm: MEAM Senior Design Presentation

Today, Team Titan presented our project at the Mechanical Engineering Senior Design Day.  Attached to this post, you'll find our poster with information, as well as our "teaser" video below.

We're happy to report that our team was honored with the Judge's Award for overall project excellence.  We'll be one of three teams representing that Mechanical Engineering Department at the All Engineering Senior Design presentations next week.
