What do you like about Tony

1. his good heart. say what you want, but that man hasn’t a bad bone in his body. he gives everyone 2nd chances and his forgiveness too easily because he has so much fucking love in his heart not to. he pulls his punches when fighting people he cares(d) about - stane after he clearly wanted him dead & acted on it directly, TWICE,, bucky & steve in that bunker etc

2. Heroism. who else wouldve put their life on the line by flying the nuke through that portal? thor couldve done it - an alien got that flies & is basically immortal, but he didnt. it was tony who made the sacrifice, the only one human among them.

3. selflessness - he didnt even let anyone ponder for a bit over their living expenses - he just let the avengers move into his home, built them tech & gave them food, all free of charge & unprompted. he didnt let his grudge over his & steve’s disagreement keep him from flying to siberia to help him and bucky. he never did anything for himself and out of being selfish, unlike some :)

4. his genius, incredible mind that made him worlds only shot at beating thanos for a goddamn reason.

5. his childlike/innocent displays when he’s alone - his little ‘yaay!’ when cracking a code, the look of pure joy and wonder overtaking his face when he figured out the new element he was about to create, the little dancing show he did in IM2 while testing his newest suit’s assembly method, God, a grown man capable of both saving and desteoying the universe as we know it has no business being that fucking adorable

6. his willingness to take action despite discouragement from his inert surroundings.

7. his love for the earth and its people that drove him to back the accords, to stop and check on every distressed civilian he encounters despite the greater danger nearing him, all the personal sacrifices he keeps making for mankind’s safety that are in no way driven by any personal interest (again, unlike some lol)

8. his sense of humor, wit & sarcasm. honestly. his jokes are so well-timed and on point that steve outright missed the biggest one despite it being thrown right in his face. the way he handles politicians and congressmen in IM2. “ive just privatized world peace” fucking iconic™

9. taking responsibility for his fuck-ups & showing actual remorse (khM KHM)

10. the entire Iron Dad & His Spider Son relationship.

not to be fake deep but like average poor kids deserve affordable higher education too lmao. we shouldn’t be expected to get a perfect ACT, work 40 hours a week, do another 20 hours of extra circulars, be on the honor roll, take only AP classes, have a 4.5 GPA just to have a CHANCE at being able to afford college. esp when avrage rich kids can go wherever the fuck they want with a subpar GPA and test scores.
