Found Granny stitching this, should I be worried?
Tempting to stitch and hang up at my desk at work.
If you want to crochet something a bit different for Easter, how about these dragon eggs, with tiny dragon hatchlings inside: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/526111282/mini-pets-in-eggs-dragon-hatchling
@lucyravenscar these are awesome! Brilliant job. Sharing with my followers x
HATS HATS HATS
I’m having fun making more hats using that pattern I made the rainbow hat with but I’m having trouble picking color combinations. Here’s all of my color options; the brim, pompom, and body of the hat can each be different colors. What color combo do you think I should make?
Okay y’all are awesome and I have another question. If I buy the pattern instead of just using the free version, it comes with a way to make those horizontal stripes in a different color. I’m thinking of doing the white variegated yarn in the middle on the left with the teal from the middle on the right as the brim and pompom. Should I buy the pattern and add teal stripes?
Yes, that would look awesome!
Lionbrand is having a ten skeins of yarn for ten dollars sale y’all. It’s only some yarns, but I got some yarn for the kids my mom works with and some yarn to make myself a hoodie with bear ears to match the one I’m making my niece. Knitting/crochet is so good for my mental health cos like my rational brain is happy because i’m MAKING STUFF and being PRODUCTIVE but my monkey brain is also happy cos i get to play with s t r i n g
This! 100 times this! ❤
Nonbinosaur inspired me to make Sunny! Sunny is a dinosaur egg. Egg dinosaur? Dinosaur egg?
Okay y’all, I need some help. I’m crocheting a baby beanie for a newborn, but I either have a cold or bad allergies and can’t tell which. How can I sanitize the hat so I won’t get the baby sick?
The Dawn idea works really well! I always wash my knits in Ivory brand dishsoap, as that’s what my grandmother always used. It’s nice and gentle, but gets the job done :)
I’m so freaking excited to share with you my first published pattern: Let’s Play Hockey!
Why did I take a picture of the blue hat with the grody, worn out bench, you ask? That is in the bleachers at the rink where I learned how to skate. It’s at the same rink where my youngest nephews play (Mini-mite and Squirt respectively) and the other one is on the ice playing when I took this shot.
And special kudos to @hlahlahlahlahly for test knitting AND coming up with the wonderful addition of ponytails!
The yarn yardage calculator based on weight will help you figure out exactly how much yarn you've used or have left, in yards, meter, weight & skeins.
This is super helpful! :D

When the UPS man came knocking with a dolley piled high with packages, Jennifer Larson immediately knew they were for her youngest son. And that the boxes would be filled
All I could say as I read this was W O W. This kid learned to crochet around the same time I did and he can stitch circles around me!
Here’s Jonah Larson’s ig account, and the facebook page where you can place an order!
@xofearlessloveox this is Greg! Greg has twelve eyes, eight tentacles, and an uncountable number of opinions
Just a few things I did today...
It was raining and cold, so I finished a hat a coworker asked me for; whipped up a dishcloth because I was bored; and started working on a blanket for my niece who’s due in March.
I made a baby penguin! And a baby penguin scarf
if anyone ever knits you a gift that uses a 1x1 rib or like, a seed stitch, please understand that they love you more than they love their own sanity
This is more true than I can comfortably express.
