hi!

i'm a grad student studying evolution, ecology, and environmental biology (triple e) at appstate university. my research focuses on the effect of fungal abundance and diversity on the decomposition of coarse woody debris in southern appalachia--ask me about it!

though i am a mycologist by trade, i am educated and experienced in entomology, and am very passionate about athropods of all shapes and sizes!

i made this as a sideblog to my main fandom account (devilsmarmalade) so i had somewhere to just talk about science. follow me here instead to hear about bugs!
