hes a robot dog built by a robot butler that belonged to shaggys rich uncle but was given to shaggy when his uncle mysteriously disappeared. the robot butler got upset that he didn't have a dog to enter into a dog show that shaggy and scooby were running, and so he built one. the dogs face is a functional waffle iron and he pisses on people out of his juicer leg. after the dog show episode he becomes a reoccurring character because this show is allergic to the status quo and throwaway episodic characters become series mainstays at least, like, 4 or 5 times. I cannot stress enough that this is a positive of the show. its insane. I love it

being extremely out of the loop especially regarding social media trends and discourse means you often end up learning things only after they've been turned into memes like ten times removed from the original context. for example the first time I ever read the term "girl dinner" it was on a gif of the T-Rex from Jurassic Park eating people so you can imagine the confusion when some time later I stumbled upon posts where people were hating on it and calling it gender essentialist
