Alright, so ignore the shitty edit- but The / vs & is Important.

I never really noticed how Silco's outfits changed between acts.

Pre-timeskip we see Silco wearing a waistcoat that connects on one side, this one-sided style is a constant in all of his outfits, it reflects the asymmetry his scar creates, showing how his trauma defines everything about him.

And of the little we saw of him in his flashback, his outfit has a similar style and one-sidedness. As well as what appears to be the same type of buckles/fastening too. This could imply that in act 1, he lived in the past, unable to move on from his trauma.

But post-timeskip, it's all new:

He now has a grand coat that reflects his elevated position in the hierarchy. Not to mention the lapels of his coat are asymmetrical, keeping to his scarred theme. It still defines him to a degree.

But back to the waistcoat, it's notably no longer side-connected, clearly a whole new theme from act 1, but asymmetry remains with the shoulder straps.

The shape of the waistcoat is undeniably a heart.

After act 1 his revenge is complete, he can move on from his trauma. So now he has a new focus: Raising his daughter.

He is the villain with a heart. And this comes to define him.

And Jinx shoots him straight through his heart waistcoat. Anatomically speaking, it looks like it would've hit his actual heart too.

How one might go about finding a proof reader
