In MS-13 speech, Trump applauded for imploring police “not to be too nice” while arresting “thugs”
BRENTWOOD, NEW YORK — Trump scored applause Friday while talking to police about the fight against the brutal MS-13 gang by saying he doesn’t mind if suspects get roughed up during arrests.
“When you see these thugs being thrown into the back of a paddy wagon, you just see them thrown in, rough, I said, ‘Please don’t be too nice.’ Like when you guys put somebody in the car, protecting their head, you know, the way you put [your] hand, like don’t hit their head, and they’ve just killed somebody… I said, ‘You can take the hand away, ok?’”
Trump, whose tough talk won him applause from the uniformed officers assembled behind him at Suffolk County Community College, promised to “eradicate” MS-13. Read more (7/28/17 3:30 PM)
Handing military equipment to police departments is a mistake, for one thing, heavy vehicles use up more fuel and rip up public roads, not to mention it gives police a sense that they are soldiers invading foreign territory, not public servants who are supposed to protect and serve the people.
As for not being nice when arresting citizens, everyone is only suspected of a crime until they are convicted of a crime, asking police to brutalize citizens is illegal and immoral - but that’s Trump in a nutshell.
Now he’s overtly inciting police brutality against US Citizens, using heavy military technology.
Can we impeach the douchebag already?
Every cop who cheered and applauded should be fired. They say it’s “a few bad apples” when the entire tree is rotten to the roots.

Thoughts on recent musicals
So I've started to notice that since the release of Hamilton (which I enjoyed, don't mistake this for criticism against the show) there have been an awful lot of people enjoying broadway, though not in the fashion I expected. This is further brought up by two more recent musicals I enjoy as well: dear Evan Hansen and Heathers. It seems that because of their success in new writing techniques and humor paired with good music that's more appealing to younger audiences these shows have created a cult following of, Pardon, "Basic" people to blend in with the regular broadway fans. I see it as comparable to people that genuinely read and enjoy comic books and people that just wear Harley Quinn on their shirt because she's relevant and looks cool. There's also elements of simply liking the actors which is more prevalent in Hamilton than any of the other mentioned. Though I hope these new fans, basic or not, can enjoy some classic broadway as well. I don't speak for all but I've met some people like this who don't seem to be even remotely interested in classical shows like le mis, rent, west side story, Sweeney Todd, ect. (Those were just some of my favorites) I understand I sound like an old man when I say it but I think it's a case of people being interested in what's new because it's new and relevant as stated above. This doesn't apply to all of course, It's just a thought I had
A live production of RENT is coming to FOX
This boy’s name is Mack Beggs and he specifically asked to compete in boys competition and was denied ‘cause his birth certificate says he was female at birth. Now they complain that his testosterone treatment gave him an unfair advantage over girls. But that isn’t everything. Texas proposed a law that could ban transgender students from school sports.
“The real intent of the bill is to keep young transgender athletes from participating in sports,” Sylvia Garcia of Houston, told CNN. “We need to make sure they’re free to participate just like everybody else.”
This is so unfair to target LGBT+ youth. They’re already having hard times in their everyday routine. The government still aims to maintain an illusion that there’re only two genders and they even support an anti-trans law to keep trans people from being seen.
This is unbelievable. Don’t let this happen.

Victor Hugo: *in the afterlife, banging pans together* UGLY! I SAID HE WAS UGLY! *points at Hadley Fraser* WHAT IS THIS?? *sees George Blagden* whaT THE FUKC
Okay, so historically the majority of newsboys were around eleven through thirteen. Kid Blink was sixteen at the time of the strike, and Dave Simons was twenty-one, but the majority were pre-teens.
Please imagine a version of Newsies where everything is the same but all the boys except Jack are like ten. Just Jack, still seventeen, surrounded by munchkins. Nothing else is different.
Please consider.
*Ten-year-old Spot Conlon voice* So, Jacky boy…
Katherine: Well, I guess one of the big things I look for is someone who’s good with kids.
Jack: I’ll have you know all my friends are kids.
Kath: Oh, you mean they’re immature?
Jack: Ha. Ha ha. No. Literal children. I tripped over one yesterday.
This is very important to me
the thing i love most about the newsies fandom is that, no matter what cast you like better, we all love ben fankhauser unconditionally
We all know Disneys first openly gay moment was the alley scene in Newsies (1992) dir. Kenny Ortega. Lefou who?

Question
My husband and I can’t quite agree on this, so I figured I’d ask you lovely people online…
So Guzma… Is his name pronounced “Guhz-mah” or “Gooz-mah?”
Reblog and write in the tags how you pronounce it. Even if you don’t play the game, I’m curious how most people pronounce it.
its just a transliteration of his japanese name グズマ so its probably pronounced “goo” in english. if it was supposed to be “guh” i imagine his japenese name would be spelled ガズマ
also his name comes from the genus of flower guzmania, which was named after anastasio guzman, which is pronounced “gooz-man”
my whole world just got rocked
This isn’t even my Pokémon account but whatever. Though, it should be known that Guzma’s name is based off of a plant called the “Guzmania” which is pronounced “g-UH” instead of “g-OO” however I see it as an interpretation of accent. Considering we don’t say Kukui’s name “K-uh-k-uh-i” So I guess just say it as you please
