Hotel Sogo launches Timog Ave. branch
Last week, a friend of mine who works with the brand invited me to the Grand Launch event of Hotel Sogo – Timog Avenue, and it was quite a launch, to be honest. :)
Now, I know what you’re thinking. Everyone knows that Sogo is associated with your perception of that of a motel. But come to think of it, through the years, the public has been more and more open to the idea of a practical, versatile, and now family-oriented hospitality environment, and it looks like Hotel Sogo has done just that! They have continued to innovate their brand image and also the aesthetics of their hotel spaces, kept their promise of a practical stay by sticking to non-expensive rates and options of staying in “sachet” lengths, and for whatever reason you have – a staycation, chilling in for some quality family time, and even staying in because of the intermittent water and power outages in the Metro – Hotel Sogo has you covered as they have committed to a 100% No Brownout Promise.
The event started with a heart-warming mass, followed by the ribbon-cutting ceremonies, the Blessing of the Spaces and a little cocktail party for the guests.
Of course, I’d never miss out on meeting a new friend. :)
As part of the Media lineup, I get to join the hotel’s Media Tour where they show us the different rooms they have in the branch.
The Deluxe room is one of their reasonably-priced hotel room as the space has simple yet elegant interiors.
The Executive room is a little more spacey than the Deluxe room, and it’s located on higher floors so you can enjoy the City view there is in the vicinity during your stay as well.
I like the Regency room a lot as it’s definitely group- and/or family-oriented. It’s like their family room with a queen bed and a single bed, plus, given what space it has, guests are free to request for extra bed/s as well. I think more and more families are going for this room lately to chill with their kids in a very homey space.
I also like their Themed rooms as well because it has its own hot tub, and the one we saw, in particular, had a swing it! It’s definitely perfect for very playful families or couples who’d like to really optimize their stay with Hotel Sogo. Most of their themed rooms are located in garage/motor garage drive-in rooms, so if you’d like to stay on one of these, you should probably drive-in. :)
After the visit, the staff gave out loot bags to the guests containing Hotel Sogo merch – all of which would entitle guests to discounts from their stay should they check-in. :D If you’d like to try them out, I’d love to give five (5) people discount cards for their stay! Direct message me. :)
No wonder Hotel Sogo keeps on multiplying in every corner of the country and catering to the increasing need of Filipinos for a So Clean, So Good space that every member of the family can enjoy!
Special thanks to my BFF Jona Antonio for having me in this launch. Super fun indeed!
