Maybe he'll tell them that she sacrificed herself to make Winter the maiden.

If he words it this way will he include that he... helped her... sacrifice herself...

If he doesn't, will they later find out and be upset with him?

People seem to keep forgetting that cinder blew up an area of the bridge knocking probably over a dozen civilians off. Because there are a bunch of depictions of that desert forest place with just out main crew, but there would be some random there too

Looking at some old and new rwby fight animations. Obviously I know why it's different now, but the hits used to feel like there was force in them. There was a weight, but now the animation looks so performative. All fluid

You'd think the biggest problem with this is it loses it's spectacle. People don't watch ballet to get the same feeling they get when they watch wrestling. I say you'd think, because it is the biggest problem in the moment, but there's a worse problem when it comes in contact with the story and narrative: I don't care.

You don't find yourself as invested in the fight. I'm never afraid someone will win or lose, because it loses it's impact in the storytelling sense of the word. I don't find myself cheering for anyone. If the person wins, yeah figures, and if they lose you just want to see how that affects the story afterwords. You don't care about the fact that they lost like you would in one of Monty's fights.

When yang punched Adam's sword and got flung backwards I didn't think anything. I just waited to see what happens next, as opposed to when Roman punched her through a pillar with a mech suit, when I though 'oh shit, oh fuch- oh my god... WHOOO- what!'
