This pattern is a classic in the early stages of trend’s continuation. Very reliable and extremely recognizable thanks to its unique formation that resembles wedge in western technical analysis. The pattern has the following characteristics:

early bullish candlestick (or bearish)

small candlesticks of opposite color to the first one (usually three plugs)

Last candlestick of the same color of the first one which opens above the clamp of the first.

Supports and Resistances: there is something you definitely need to know.

You are about to know the base for any trading strategy. Any possible combination of technical signals, macroeconomic signals and signals related to the feelings of the market refer to just two concepts: support and resistance. If you have never heard of support and resistance before, at first you will probably find it difficult to understand their meaning. In order to make life easier for you, we will try to show these concepts in another way:

SUPPORTS AND RESISTANCES: HAVE YOU EVER PLAYED TABLE TENNIS?

Maybe you are thinking this question has nothing to do with trading, but let me show you it actually does. Picture a table tennis table and a ball bouncing from right to left and from left to right on it. Imagine that instead of the two players there is a wall, and this wall you are imagining turns into a corridor where the same ball keeps on bouncing from one end to the other, going forward in small steps. Let’s call the upper wall resistance, the lower support, and the ball is the price. Now, observe carefully the image:

What you are looking at is not the real market trend, it is just a representation of it. As you can see, the price is always bouncing both on the support and on the resistance, and this happens for a definite reason. The actors of the market: the price moves according to the quantity of capitals moving towards a sell or buy position. In this case, most part of the investors (all capitals being equal) are buying at support points and selling at resistance points. The bouncing play cannot obviously last forever. Indeed, sooner or later one of the two walls yields, breaks, and the price, as soon as it is free to let out its strength, rapidly throws itself in the chosen direction. What you have just pictured is called “support or resistance trend line break”.

NOT ALL THE WALLS ARE THE SAME

As in real life, even in the market walls have different resistance levels. While in reality this resistance depends on the type of material used to build the wall, in the market a wall is as stronger as it could better push the price back. This means that a trend line traced on a graph representing daily price movements will be much more resistant than another line traced on a graph representing a single minute price trend.

LET’S GET TO THE POINT

If the market price actually moved as we just observed in the graph, this article would be all you need to become the best trader ever. Unfortunately, things are quite different in real life: here is the real graph of the price for the pair EUR/USD. Don’t be scared, take a deep breath and let’s go on, in a few days you won’t notice any difference between the graph and reality, your observation skills will make you able to schematize the market reality.

As you can see, you just need to trace a trend line to make everything clear. The price is repeatedly bouncing on our support, exactly as it happens on the graph. Every bounce corresponds to a surge, sometimes pronounced, some others more contained. What you are looking at is a bullish trend, and in this case the resistance trend line is missing because price is not closed within a channel, but it is simply moving upward. Why should you know all this stuff?

Well, I nearly forgot to tell that, when a support or a resistance is broken by price, what happens is that this price takes a definite direction. Identifying the breaking points means being able to invest following the newly formed trend, which means making money.

Warning: if you looked carefully at the graph, you’ll be probably wondering: “Hey, I see the price broke many times your support …, are you kidding me?” It is absolutely not my intention to do it, the reason why the price broke many times the support trend line is that the latter does not represent a well defined level, but rather a support area. That’s why you can notice how the price, though not bouncing exactly on the trend line, has always stayed over it, following its trend.

Here we are, definitely better, isn’t it?! What you see is the support area. You must consider this area as the turning point of the price: if the price slides below the support area, we are allowed to suppose a trend inversion is happening, otherwise, we can simply give up and go on following the current trend. It is a very common case that a former support turns into a resistance and vice versa. In this case, the probability of an ongoing inversion increases, we may say there is a 95% certainty an inversion occurred.

At one point, the price seems to be stable on a horizontal position (flag asset). As you can see, the price, after the flag asset, falls down again, breaking the mentioned asset. This is the signal for us to enter into the market. When to end investments

Binary options: we must say that in every investment we have to maintain a balance between the total capital and the invested capital: in this case, if we want to follow the strategy, we don’t have to invest more than the 5% of the total capital for every operation. Support and resistance are simply areas where price should spread and alter course, as we affirmed in the previous articles. Unfortunately, since it’s a question of areas, we have not a well-fixed limit where necessarily price will have to spread, but we have a zone pricing. To understand the concept better, it’s useful to observe a graph where the support area has been traced.

As you can see clearly, price has topped the support trend line time after time, but it always has stood inside the purple limit line. At this point, we can affirm that support doesn’t consist of a specific boundary of price, but rather of a price interval. In the case that support is an area, how can we establish whether price encrouaches on a support or not? With regard to this, there are several theories; one of the most reliable is the one which describes an encroachment in this way: price really misses out on a support only when a session opens beneath that.

At this point, we can note that the rule fails; actually, if we had opened a short position, we would have had a loss immediately. Let’s see how we can solve this problem.

SUPPORTS AND RESISTANCES: THE USE OF THE LINEAR GRAPH

To solve this unpleasant doubt, it’s necessary to leave our precious candlesticks and to consider a far more basic graph. This is the same graph which you saw previously, what has changed? Only the typology of the graph. The linear graph underlines only the point of the opening and closing price, for this reason, it creates much more reliable points of support and resistance.

DETERMINATION OF A SUPPORT AND RESISTANCE FORCE

The behaviour of the price defines the reliability of a support or of a resistance. The more that the price reacts to such area, the more resistance or support become important. From this definition, we derive that a long-term support or resistance are more important than a short-term support or resistance. Very often, in the phase of turnround, a support changes into resistance and a resistance changes into support. This could be a further sign to use for establishing whether it deals with a simple correction or an out-and-out changement of the current turnround.

Per un analista tecnico l’osservazione dei grafici risulta essere fondamentale al fine di individuare le possibili inversioni di tendenza che si possono verificare sia nel grafico giornaliero ( D1 ) sia in time frame minori come l’M5. Per poter cogliere una inversione di tendenza nel suo stadio iniziale è necessario osservare attentamente i grafici aspettando che si venga a formare una delle varie formazioni candlestick di inversione.

Tra le formazioni candlestick più affidabili troviamo la l’engulfing line che, a differenza di altri pattern, non ha bisogno di una conferma nella sessione successiva. L’engulfing line può trovarsi sia in trend ribassisti sia in trend rialzisti.

L’immagine che stai osservando mostra il pattern engulfing sia nella versione rialzista sia in quella ribassista. Come puoi notare la candela che rappresenta l’inizio del trend ribassista ( bullish engulfing ) ha un real body molto marcato che mostra una volatilità più elevata rispetto alla precedente candela di colore opposto e rappresentante la fine della precedente tendenza ribassista. La candela rialzista ingloba totalmente il real body della precedente, ma non prima che si siano raggiunti nuovi minimi ( da notare la shadow inferiore ).

Questa formazione descrive un comportamento preciso degli investitori: le forze che hanno spinto il mercato a ribasso hanno, nella sessione della candlestick rialzista, cercato di far scendere ancora i prezzi toccando nuovi minimi. Nella stessa sessione però i compratori hanno avuto la meglio, facendo aumentare il prezzo sino a superare la resistenza dettata dalla sessione precedente. Molti stop loss impostati dai venditori sono saltati, incrementando le posizioni di acquisto, altri investitori poi, una volta superata la resistenza, sono entrati a mercato aprendo posizioni rialziste. Ovviamente, le stesse regole, invertite, valgono anche per una Engulfing che si presenta alla fine di una tendenza rialzista.

CARATTERISTICHE DELL’ ENGULFING PATTERN

Le caratteristiche fondamentali che questo pattern deve avere sono essenzialmente tre:

1) Il mercato deve presentare una tendenza decisa che può essere sia rialzista sia ribassista.

2) Le candele che formano il pattern sono due, il real body della prima candela deve essere totalmente contenuto nel real body della candela successiva che necessariamente deve presentare una maggiore volatilità.

3) La seconda candela del pattern deve essere di colore opposto a quello della prima.

Come tutte le formazioni candlestick di inversione, anche l’engulfing deve essere analizzata in base al contesto in cui si presenta. Va evitato l’investimento se tale formazione si presenta in un mercato laterale. Per un analista tecnico l’osservazione dei grafici risulta essere fondamentale al fine di individuare le possibili inversioni di tendenza che si possono verificare sia nel grafico giornaliero ( D1 ) sia in time frame minori come l’M5. Per poter cogliere una inversione di tendenza nel suo stadio iniziale è necessario osservare attentamente i grafici aspettando che si venga a formare una delle varie formazioni candlestick di inversione.

Tra le formazioni candlestick più affidabili troviamo la l’engulfing line che, a differenza di altri pattern, non ha bisogno di una conferma nella sessione successiva. L’engulfing line può trovarsi sia in trend ribassisti sia in trend rialzisti.

L’immagine che stai osservando mostra il pattern engulfing sia nella versione rialzista sia in quella ribassista. Come puoi notare la candela che rappresenta l’inizio del trend ribassista ( bullish engulfing ) ha un real body molto marcato che mostra una volatilità più elevata rispetto alla precedente candela di colore opposto e rappresentante la fine della precedente tendenza ribassista. La candela rialzista ingloba totalmente il real body della precedente, ma non prima che si siano raggiunti nuovi minimi ( da notare la shadow inferiore ).

Questa formazione descrive un comportamento preciso degli investitori: le forze che hanno spinto il mercato a ribasso hanno, nella sessione della candlestick rialzista, cercato di far scendere ancora i prezzi toccando nuovi minimi. Nella stessa sessione però i compratori hanno avuto la meglio, facendo aumentare il prezzo sino a superare la resistenza dettata dalla sessione precedente. Molti stop loss impostati dai venditori sono saltati, incrementando le posizioni di acquisto, altri investitori poi, una volta superata la resistenza, sono entrati a mercato aprendo posizioni rialziste. Ovviamente, le stesse regole, invertite, valgono anche per una Engulfing che si presenta alla fine di una tendenza rialzista.

CARATTERISTICHE DELL’ ENGULFING PATTERN

Le caratteristiche fondamentali che questo pattern deve avere sono essenzialmente tre:

1) Il mercato deve presentare una tendenza decisa che può essere sia rialzista sia ribassista.

2) Le candele che formano il pattern sono due, il real body della prima candela deve essere totalmente contenuto nel real body della candela successiva che necessariamente deve presentare una maggiore volatilità.

3) La seconda candela del pattern deve essere di colore opposto a quello della prima.

Investire in opzioni binarie non è semplice, bisogna considerare molteplici fattori, tutti calcolabili e in una certa misura prevedibili. L’analisi tecnica ci insegna che per riuscire a cogliere una inversione di tendenza dobbiamo considerare i livelli di supporto e di resistenza che si vengono a creare. Per tracciare i supporti e le resistenze basta segnare, con una linea orizzontale, i punti di minimo e di massimo raggiunti dal prezzo. Per poter investire con le probabilità a favore dobbiamo necessariamente individuare la rottura di un supporto o di una resistenza.

L’immagine che stai osservando descrive l’andamento del prezzo dell’Eur/usd con time frame M5 ( ogni sessione-candela dura cinque minuti ). Il prezzo si trova in una fase di congestione laterale delimitata dalle linee di supporto e di resistenza. Ad un certo punto il prezzo buca la trend line di resistenza facendo credere, ad occhi meno esperti, che sia in atto una inversione di tendenza. Purtroppo però, la candlestick che si viene a formare non rappresenta un deciso andamento del mercato bensì una indecisione. Infatti, subito dopo, i venditori prendono il sopravvento facendo rientrare il prezzo all’ interno della trend line di resistenza. Solo cinque minuti dopo si viene a formare una long candle ( segnale di forza dei compratori ) che buca in modo deciso la trend line di resistenza dando vita ad una tendenza rialzista di breve perdio.

DUE DIVERSI MODI DI SFRUTTARE QUESTA OCCASIONE

Ci sono due diversi modi per sfruttare l’occasione presentata: uno è quello di investire direttamente sul mercato e l’altra è quella di investire nel mercato dei derivati e in particolar modo in quello delle opzioni binarie. Per quanto riguarda l’investimento in opzioni binarie bisogna considerare l’acquisto di opzioni binarie di tipo call ( opzioni di acquisto ) con scadenza a 5 minuti, la stessa del time frame del grafico di riferimento. A questo punto possiamo calcolare già quanto avremmo guadagnato se avessimo sfruttato con un investimento in opzioni binarie questa palese inversione di tendenza.

Con un investimento di soli 100 euro ad opzione ed un ritorno minimo del 70% ( percentuale minima di guadagno nelle opzioni binarie ), avremmo guadagnato ben 280 euro in soli 35 minuti.

ATTENZIONE AL MONEY MANAGEMENT

Solitamente nelle opzioni binarie si utilizza un money management molto rigido: non si investe più del 5% del capitale totale per ogni operazione. Per ottenere questo guadagno quindi sarebbero bastati solo 2.000€. Con tale capitale e rischiando solo il 5% avremmo in 35 minuti ottenuto un ritorno sul capitale investito ( ROI ) del 14%. FOREX TRADING: THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

Long / Short: in forex does not say: “I bought” or “I sold”, but using the terms: Long and Short. Long means purchase and Short means sale. When you will hear someone say: I went long on the EUR / USD, it simply means that he opened a position of purchase on the EUR / USD pair.

Pips and pipettes: the concepts that these two terms include you must try to understand them very well because they are the basis of forex. The pip (percentage in point) is the smallest unit of measurement to express a variation in terms of the quotation of a currency pair. Almost always, quotes are expressed by 4 decimal places: Eur / Usd at 1.3505, if after 30 minutes the price moves to 1.3520 means that there was an increase of 15 pips. From this we can simplify the definition by stating that a pip is the 4th decimal place of a quotation.

This is not always true, in fact, in pairs like USD / JPY quotes are expressed using only two decimal places, for example: Usd / Jpy at 85.50. If after 30 minutes the exchange rate is 85.70, we can say that we had a variation of 20 pips.

Not all brokers use the same number of decimal places, some brokers in fact, use 5 decimal places, including the fractions of pips that are called pipettes. Let’s make an example to clarify this concept.

Suppose that the broker we are using he rates the EUR / USD pair at 1.35050, after a few hours the quotation changes getting to 1.35200, could you tell me of how many pips the exchange rate has changed?, And, again, would you be able to tell me of how many pipettes the quotation has moved?.

Pips variation = 15

Pipettes variation = 150

From this you can deduce that to have 1 pip you need 10 pipettes, or rather, the pipettes is one tenth of a pip. Bid / Ask: Each currency pair has two different prices, one is to purchase, called ask, and one represents the sale value, called bid. The sale price is generally lower than the purchase price. Let’s take a brief example to better understand the difference between bid and ask:

Eur / Usd

bid = 1.3550

ask = 1.3552

Referring to the above values, we can say that if we open a “short” position, then the price to consider is the “bid” one, vice versa, if we open a “long” position the price to consider is the “ask” one.

The broker’s profit: If you paid attention you may have noticed a very peculiar logic, that is the purchase price is more than the sale price. So if you would purchase and sold instantly you would go at a loss. What does this mean?, Is very simple, your forex broker does not receive commissions, but only the difference between the purchase price and the sale price.

Round lots: in the forex market the unit of measurement of the various transactions is called round lot. The standard round lot is 100.000 units of base currency. Obviously there is not only the standard round lot, but also mini round lots of 10.000 units and micro round lots of 1.000. Brokers have recently started to use the “nano” round lot that measures 100 units of currency.

Leverage: the leverage is a multiplier that allow to multiply our capital giving us the opportunity to get into the market and manage large sums of money just having only a fraction. With a leverage of 1:100 and an investment of € 1.000, we can handle as many as 100.000 € on the market. With a leverage of 1:50 instead, with the same amount of € 1.000, we can handle as many as 50.000 €. Leverage allows us to amplify profit, but at the same time also amplifies any loss, for this reason you should not use a lever too big to risk running out of capital even with a minimum price fluctuation.

Gli investimenti in opzioni binarie risultano essere estremamente semplici. Ci sono numerosissimi casi in cui il prezzo letteralmente ” grida ” una inversione imminente. In questi casi un occhio esperto riesce subito a cogliere la palla al balzo, cosa che un trader alle prime armi non riesce a fare.

TRADING SYSTEM OPZIONI BINARIE: I RALLY GIORNALIERI

Opzioni binarie: Il prezzo di mercato di qualsiasi strumento finanziario segue delle precise tendenze che sono il frutto dell’ agire degli investitori. Queste tendenze sono estremamente visibili se si osservano i prezzi di mercato nel medio-lungo periodo. Purtroppo in time frame minori la cosa diventa molto più complessa rendendo l’analisi del trader estremamente più difficile. Malgrado ciò, anche nell’intra-day si possono cogliere occasioni molto profittevoli che, se ben sfruttate, possono portare dei profitti interessanti.

Il grafico che stai osservando rappresenta il prezzo dell’oro. Il time frame del grafico è M5, ossia, ogni sessione ha una durata di 5 minuti. Il grafico evidenzia una fase di compressione di volatilità che si esplica in un movimento di prezzo laterale. Tale fase, secondo l’analisi tecnica, preannuncia una imminente inversione di tendenza. Per poter stabilire se l’inversione sia veramente in atto bisogna aspettare che il prezzo buchi la formazione. Quando ciò accade possiamo essere certi che la tendenza predominante sarà quella intrapresa dal prezzo.

In questo caso, la long candle di tipo marubozu ( una candela che si presenta con una forma rettangolare molto marcata e con assenza dell’ombra ) indica una netta inversione di tendenza che possiamo sfruttare con investimenti in opzioni binarie.

STRATEGIA OPERATIVA

Se ci troviamo in presenza di una fase laterale che segue una tendenza ribassista, dobbiamo aspettarci una inversione rialzista del trend. Tuttavia non possiamo che aspettare che il prezzo rompa la formazione a rettangolo evidenziando, come in questo caso, una chiara tendenza rialzista. In tal caso proseguiremo all’investimento in opzioni binarie scegliendo una opzione di tipo call con scadenza a 5 minuti.

Se invece ci fossimo trovati in presenza di una formazione a rettangolo formatasi dopo una fase rialzista ci dovremmo aspettare una inversione ribassista del prezzo. Anche in questo caso dovremmo aspettare che il prezzo infranga a ribasso la formazione. A quel punto investiremo in una opzione vi aria di tipo Put con scadenza a 5 minuti.

MONEY MANAGEMENT

Com sempre il nostro consiglio è di diminuire al minimo l’esposizione al rischio. Pertanto consigliamo di investire solo il 5% del capitale totale per ogni operazione eseguita.
