stand up for and protect trans people. even when you don’t think any are around. even - especially - when you’re in an all cis friend group.
cis wlw must be responsible to their trans community members, step outside their comfort zones in genuine and active solidarity. resist actions and attitudes that render trans people, especially trans women, disposable and ungrievable. this is the only way that we can move from “rememberance” to a true celebration of trans people while we are still alive.
