Ive been learning about a new mental illness, psychology interests me,, a lot,,, and I thought I would be cool to advocate for it in some way shape and form

@ DID systems, would it be okay for someone who doesn't have DID to have a character (who I'm planning on reworking to have DID) and I guess 'use' the OC to advocate and teach others abt the mental illness?? I don't wanna do smth bad or wrong

The conditions tho,, I'll be learning everything I can from those with DID so no misinformation or harmful information gets spread, of course (my fav YouTube to learn things from atm is disassociaDID!!)

I wanted to see if it was acceptable for me, a person without DID, to teach other about it with a original character who does have DID (or just advocate in general) if it's unacceptable I won't!!! Ty
