— Casey McQuiston, "The Pairing"
"It's not so bad being romanced by something familiar." — Casey McQuiston, "The Pairing"
"Spring had erupted since the previous week; green had taken command of the fields; acacias were in flower—those enchanted trees whose branches from a distance seem to be covered with bees, yellow blossoms that make your head spin with their impossible fragrance as you draw near; hawthorns and mulberries were alive with birds, and the very air vibrated with the humming of insects."
— Isabel Allende, "Of Love and Shadows"
"She tried to relive that moment—the damp red earth and the intense scent of the pine and eucalyptus forests in which a carpet of dry leaves lay steeping after the long hot summer and where the copper sunlight filtered down through the treetops."
— Isabel Allende, "The House of the Spirits"
"She saw the ghosts of all those unknown dead, heard the great house pant with the labored breath of an old woman." — Isabel Allende, "The House of the Spirits"
"I'd take fear over pity any day."
— Layla Martínez, "Woodworm"
"Even the men avoided walking past the house at night." — Fernanda Melchor, "Hurricane Season"

This is awesome, thanks for sharing.
It's so nice to see my stuff framed on a wall, especially when I'm (semi-regularly) on the verge of giving up. I assume I'm still the person with the most of my prints up in their house, but this is fairly close!
Thank you for making art! The world needs more of it.

"Rich women also have to choose their men wisely cuz even the ones you'd never expect can turn out to be the jealous type, the violent type who gets out his spoon on day one and cracracra keeps scraping till he's dug your grave."

"The house quivered with pleasure or maybe disgust, which isn't all that different." — Layla Martínez, "Woodworm"
