I love Splatoon music HOWEVER. it is really annoying when you get it stuck in your head and can’t remember the name of the song because unlike other music you can’t just search up the lyrics. Rolled credits on Raiders last night. Here's what I'm thinking

This game was so fucking awesome, 10/10 GOTY for me. Blows every other Splatoon campaign out of the water in everything (besides maybe music, but there were a few jams here and there no doubt).

I was especially impressed by the final boss. Had all of the best aspects of the previous final bosses. It was reasonably challenging, and felt like a culmination of everything we learned in the game so far, quite like Overlorder. It had action-packed scenery and felt like a dramatic climax to the narrative, like Mr. Grizz and NIHL Statue. And yet, it managed to be its own boss entirely.

After religiously playing the game for what has to have been around 15 hours, I can safely say that I still have quite a few things I need to do post-game wise, and I will definitely be replaying this game for challenge runs.

A few ideas I have for challenge runs:

No Upgrades: what you get is what you work with

Gadgetless, Weaponless, etc. : speaks for itself.

One life only: dying means restarting the level

Nuzlocke: wiping out means you lose the weapon you were using for good

Damageless: taking damage requires restarting the level

Hard-core mode: any of the above combined

how much can eram shapeshift in your reinterpretation of events?

especially given eram can look like a false-kris when playing the boards [a rabbick mentions kris having just passed them before the real kris came over]

does eram stay as a floating head for the bit unless trying to fuck around? do they need an item [such as the horned headband] to pretend to be someone?

can they just troll the party in snowblind by appearing and reappearing as kris before revealing themself as the flying head full of fire

DR fandom won't be happy with the end of Deltarune

Toby Fox isn't going to lay out every single one of Deltarune's mysteries in concise detail when it ends, and the fandom(and general gamers) will give out shit for it. saying omg he didnt even address X and ok he didnt finished the storyline with Y. toby fox gave up writing Z

People want "Lore" handed to them on a silver plate, i mean look at the backlash when chapter 5 came out

I imagine if Undertale came out today people would give out about how "vague" and "poorly written" Sans is because we don't know everything about his backstory and how he is so aware of the game, the resets, etc.

im lk doomposting but the weird response to chapter 5 has made me question how people will respond to the rest of the game

Fun thing I just realized is that every salmon run map, by technicality, is wheelchair accessible. Since Steel Eels need to be able to go anywhere on the map, any change in vertical height uses ramps instead of stairs (excluding stuff like fish sticks which aren’t a permanent fixture of the stage.)
