if the diner was open during the festival, pt 1: Ralsei
some bugs!
so I sent this pic to my friend so show off how bright the kinger lamp is and he pointed out this and I haven't stopped laughing about it since:
i love characters who do the âi worship the myth i make of youâ and in turn dehumanize and get wrong the object of their devotion and love. yes project a thing that does not exist onto a pedestal and kneel at it like it is your altar. this will surely not blow up in both of your faces eventually
polyamory would save them. they just have to find out what it is first.

Beep boop! I look for accidental haiku posts. Sometimes I mess up.
Damnit. Mystery Flesh Pit guy uses AI.
really funny (in a bad way) that the AI is the part of this anyone gives a shit about
ohhh you donât like that iâve used AI? well, iâve killed people. checkmate, liberals.
There's lots of problems with USA public education but also a lot of you were just drawing Naruto characters kissing while your history teacher tried to tell you about the Scramble for Africa
You know, when I've remarked that a lot of the responses to my posts feel like people are just plucking out keywords they think they recognise based on the shape of them and replying to what they imagine the post says based on that, the possibility never occurred to me that this is actually how many American schools are currently teaching kids to read.
Like, my assumption this whole time has been that when folks go "I misunderstood this post that says [thing] as saying [unrelated thing] because I mistook [word] for [completely different word that happens to start with the same letter]", that was a bit. What do you mean they're teaching kids a reading method that's tailored to produce this exact error?
Three cueing. Once you learn about it, a whole lot of very frustrating online discourse with US Americans makes so much sense đ
For decades, schools have taught children the strategies of struggling readers, using a theory about reading that cognitive scientists have
If you were taught to read with the three cueing method, and now struggle to read fluently, you can still learn to read properly!

If you're a teenager, you can still use this resource.
if Noelle is a party member in the next chapter I have a feeling she's going to be the reason we find out who the Knight is
like I just have this really anime-esc scene in my head of them in a fight with the Knight and after taking out the others no problem, it just pauses, sword at her neck but unable to bring it any closer, while Noelle stares, afraid but curious
she loves scary things after all
and they know that
sory for the text wall
I've always known you as THE kriselle artist and i was just looking at your calamity tierlist thinking "damn, these bosses look sick as hell, is this like doom 96 or touhou or some shit" when i noticed you so kindly provided a link to "Paradise Parasite". I was very pleasantly surprised with an absolute banger, but I was way more surprised it was from a terraria mod. like i thought that was the original cozy farming sim game, i didn't know it had COMBAT. what the book do you mean base terraria has boss names like "EYE OF CTHULU". huh. my frame of reference for 'extremely dark and difficult games' is like, casualties: unknown, and i've died during the tutorial on that. these tracks make it sound like i'm fighting actual gods. i think we ARE fighting actual gods. uhh, anyways, i just wanted to say thank you for introducing me to this insane OST and this absurd mod, maybe i'll find out the lore later and get even more obsessed
Hi. FANTASTIC ask to send me im so happy. please allow me to terraria ramble for a bit thank you
terraria has always been very combat focused!! the boss progression is like the most iconic part of the game. the modded scene has a variety of directions (some that add 1000 items for building vs. some that remove the need to build at all) but most of them focus on bosses as well, like calamity & wrath of the gods. boss attack patterns are a really big thing, to the point where there are calamity add-on mods like infernum that give the bosses all new fights. if you want to see a cool one i recommend looking at the infernum empress of light fight, its very difficult but sooo awesome. since you liked paradise parasite, youâve gotta see the avatar of emptiness fight too, itâs honestly my favoriteâŠ. i beat it relatively recently, but got stuck on the next boss, nameless deity, which is even more insane of a fight. ITS SO COOL!!! as far as base calamity goes, providence and yharon are probably my favorite fights.
also yea, eye of cthulhu is one of the first bosses in vanilla terraria, itâs very iconic LOL. wait till you hear about the wall of flesh bro. or the moon lord (actually just cthulhu). its really fun. man i fucking love terraria
and can i just say im SO glad you listened to paradise parasite, ive been obsessed with the song for months, i almost considered not linking it because i was like ânobody is probably gonna listen to thisâ so im very pleasantly surprised⊠now i must subject you to base calamity music. i highly recommend setting aside 15 minutes to listen to the Devourer of Gods Nonstop Mix, genuinely some of the best video game music ever created imo. its just simply too peak. if you like UTDR fanmusic in any capacity, iâd say it carries similar vibes to that but also 100x more epic. you listen to it and think WOW i cant believe this is for a TERRARIA MOD. dm dokuro is a genius on every level. but if you want to listen to something more like paradise parasite, you should definitely listen to twisted garden, also by ennway. its freaking epic although much more high energy. if anyone is a vanilla terraria fan, i'd recommend picking up calamity sometime if you haven't, because I havent had this much fun with terraria in years...
anyway here are my drawings of kris and noelle (and berdly) playing terraria
Tbh I think the "but data centers are important infrastructure, not just AI" talking point misses that like
Ok so roads are important infrastructure. A lot of stuff that's important happens on roads. Now, let's imagine that quadrillionaire Matt Stench has decided that the next big tech innovation is the Wide Car. It's a car that takes up six lanes despite seating only one passenger.
The Wide Car is supposed to be the future, and everyone's going to be driving Wide Cars, even though nobody who makes Wide Cars is turning a profit. Employers are offering Wide Cars as an employee benefit, and getting "nah." Some employers are going as far as demanding their employees drive Wide Cars, and the result is that people take time out of their workdays to get in the mandatory gas usage for their Wide Car before driving home in a regular car.
In spite of the fact that the Wide Car is clearly set to fail, there's an enormous push to expand to twelve-lane roads to accommodate a bunch of Wide Cars that simply will not materialize. This is not an organic response to demand, but a speculative investment that amplifies the existing issues with road development for no good reason.
That is the problem.
Oh and the road infrastructure project is buying up resources other people could have used for literally anything else. With money they promise they'll be making from Wide Car sales any day now.
Okay so what I'm getting from the notes is that when you try to transplant some techbro nonsense into an offline equivalent, you have to be careful to avoid simply inventing something the Americans are already doing in real life
