Okay, so today my mom asked me to go with her to buy a car. Naturally, my instinct is to flirt with people to see if I can get a discount (is that bad?)

Story time?

So, I was at dollar tree because I’m broke and I love that place. I go down the aisle that had the energy drinks I like and at the same time an older dude starts to go down it too so I slow down and let him go first and then try to go around him because he was stopping. But then he turned to me and like blocked my way and asked if I was following him??? So I’m kind of freaking out because like, this guy thinks I’m following him and so I like quickly said “No sir, I’m just getting something” and he stops and give me a look and is all like “well can you follow me?” Like, seriously?! So I’m like freaking out because I’m awkward and have anxiety and this was not helping anything so I just quickly say “no sir” again and rush down the aisle to get my drink and he calls out “oh I’m just kidding” like, dude, no.

Like, I don’t know why this dude thought it would be a good idea or a good way to hit on someone but I was just anxious the whole time I was in the store (and still am honestly). Please just don’t do that.

Todoroki comforting you

So, basically, I’ve had a rough couple days, so I wrote this to make me feel better. It’s probably bad but it helped so 🤷🏼‍♀️

It felt like everything was crashing around you. You just got pulled into your bosses office at work to get yelled at about something you didn’t even do. That’s already upsetting enough, but when you were on your way home, wanting nothing more than to curl up in bed and call your boyfriend over to cuddle you, you see said boyfriend. But a sight that should make you feel better made your blood run cold, there was your boyfriend, sitting in your favorite café, holding hands with another girl, before you can turn away you see them lean in for a kiss.

You two hadn’t been together long, but it still hurts. You thought everything was going great! What did you do this time? Oh gosh you just want to go home and let it all out.

Walking up the stairs to your apartment you hope your roommate Shouto isn’t there. Yes, the up and coming pro hero Shouto Todoroki is your roommate. You two had been friends since you were at UA together, you were in different classes but you both managed to have the same favorite tree to sit at on campus. While you both had the same favorite spot you never seemed to be there at the same time until one day. You needed some fresh air and so did he. You were both shocked to see each other at the secluded part of campus, but honestly neither of you wanted to be alone, so you sat on opposite sides and stayed silent. This happened a couple days a week for a couple weeks until you finally said the first words to him, something simple about the weather getting colder and there not being as many birds. That one line sparked a new friendship.

So you were here now, standing outside your apartment door, debating if you wanted to go in or find somewhere else to hide away. Before you could decide you felt someone behind you. Turning around you see his neutral face “You going in? Or just standing here?” He asked, frowning with a shrug was your only answer. Taking the initiative, he unlocked the door and pulled you inside, waiting for you to do anything, but you stand there. “Y/N? You okay?” Then he saw the tears fall, and his heart broke. “Apparently I suck at everything” you said through the tears, letting him take you in his arms. You both weren’t new to this kind of contact, platonic cuddling is a thing. But the way he was holding you was like you were protected from the rest of the world. “Why would you say that?” He said, brushing your hair out of your face to look at you. “My boss yelled at me today, I don’t even really know why but then when I was walking I saw….” And the tears got too heavy for you to continue. “Shhhh, it’s okay, you will be okay” feeling you start to lose your footing he lifts you and walks to the couch, setting you on his lap to hopefully calm you down “ you don’t have to tell me, I just want you to feel better”

You sit like that for a few minutes, tears slowing down, until you hear your phone go off, the ringtone you had set for your boyfriend, or I guess ex boyfriend. It took everything in you not to break down again. “You want to get that?” He asked “He might make you feel better” he said more in a whisper, almost sounding sad. “No” you replied bluntly. “I saw him kissing another girl”

With that you get off his lap, leaving your phone on the table and move to go to bed. You loved your best friend but you wanted to be alone, and you knew he would respect that.

And he did for a couple hours. Your phone went off a couple times, it annoyed him to the point of answering, giving the boy on the other side of the line an earful. He wouldn’t be bothering you anymore and Shouto hopes he doesn’t see him in person.

After the call ends he softly knocks on your door, your favorite tea in hand. It takes a couple minutes but you let out a tired “Come in”. Sitting next to you, you immediately reach for the tea, “thank you, sorry for breaking down” you say without looking up from your cup. “He won’t be bothering you anymore, okay? And if he does please let me know. I want to help you, I hate to see you sad” his hand had found his way to your thigh, welcoming you to lean against his shoulder. “You are too good for me, you know that? How am I ever going to make it up to you” “Go on a date with me” he said simply, you had to look and see if he was serious. “I mean, not right now, I don’t want you to rush into something but, I’ve liked you for so long, I never wanted to ruin the friendship we had, and then we became roommates and I just-“ “Yes” you cut him off. “Not right now, but maybe in the next couple of weeks? I need to get myself together but, I never though the handsome man I saw one day sitting in my spot would actually like me back” you blushed. “Don’t worry, we have time”

i'm just so in love with your works! like how you beautifully express the feelings of characters and make it so much enjoyable to read. i feel the lack of Kaminari content, so maybe could you write something about him? his s/o was being bullied because of how she can't control her quirk very good. Kaminari didn't even notice what she's been thru, until one day his s/o tells him that she wanted to leave u.a. so on the next day, when he hears others talking shit about his love he stood up for her.

He was already going through so much, you really didn’t want to burden him with anything else. I mean, you were in high school now and you still didn’t have a complete grip on your quirk yet. You were lucky to get into the UA support class, something you wanted to do since you were young as crazy as it seems. Most people want to be a hero; you didn’t want to be in the spot light, you wanted to help them from behind the scenes.

Getting into UA was one of the best things that happened to you, not only was it an amazing program but you got to meet the most amazing person, Kaminari. To other people he was a goof, and well, he was a goof around you too but he was also the person who made you smile, the person you could go to when you weren’t feeling the best and just needed a hug, and the best person to sneak out with you to go on late night food runs.

Plus, you got to see a side to him most didn’t. You were the one he came to when he was worried about training, the one who held him when he was exhausted to the point of not even wanting to eat, the one who he confided in. You knew he was having a rough time, that’s why you didn’t go to him with your troubles at the moment, you didn’t want to give him something else on his plate, you wanted to be perfect for him.

But it didn’t help the fact that you were getting more stressed, and your quirk was getting more out of control because of it. You were always self conscious about how little control you had to begin with, but when it started causing problems in class, enough that your teacher pulled you to the side to talk about it, you lost most of your confidence.

Then the whispers started, you were able to ignore them at first, hearing the phrases about “how did she even get in here?” And “can’t she just figure it out already” didn’t bother you, it wasn’t until you were alone one day, just trying to eat your lunch, your quirk had gotten out of control, causing your project you were working on to become destroyed. You were upset, but trying to hide it and control it so you wouldn’t do any more damage.

Then you were approached by the girls who were at the head of your class. “Y/N, do you really think you will be successful with that quirk of yours?” One of the girls laughed “I don’t really need to use it for what I want to do so yes…” you whispered not wanting to start anything, but she scoffed and the other girls giggled behind Jeff causing you to look up “I can’t believe you even came here, one of the best schools excepted someone who can’t control something they’ve had since they were little. Why does Denki even put up with you? You must be giving him something to get him to stay” she laughed, causing you to look down in shame. “I’m trying” you whisper, hiding your face “Trying isn’t enough.” She said with a straight face “One day, he’s gonna see that too” and then they were gone, and you never felt more alone.

It was a couple days later, you and Denki were sitting in the grass, eating lunch. He could tell there was something you wanted to share but didn’t push it, waiting for you to come out with it on your own. When he heard you sigh he looked at you, to find you looking back at him, and you just blurted out what you had been thinking since the girls came up to you “I think I’m going to leave UA. It’s great but everyone here is at another level than me and I just think it’s time for me to go home” when he didn’t respond you broke eye contact and start packing up your stuff “I’ll talk to you later, I have to talk to a teacher” and you walked away, not allowing him to say anything. He was shocked (lol pun not intended), where was this coming from. He thought everything was going well. He wished he had more time for you but he didn’t think that was a factor in you leaving, or was it? God, he had to find you.

When he was rushing to your classroom he saw girls he recognized from your class, slowing down to ask if they had seen you he overheard them “Good, if she leaves then we can stop having to fix our stuff so much, I feel like that stupid quirk of hers just destroys everything.” One of them said, “Yeah, she has the control of an elementary school kid, she needs to leave, plus with her gone you will have that shot with Kaminari you have been waiting for”

He couldn’t believe his ears, you were struggling with your quirk? He knew you had said that it could be hard to control sometimes but, why wouldn’t you tell him? He’d ask you later but for now, he had something else to take care of.

“Excuse me, do y’all know Y/N?” He asked, seeing there heads snap up at his voice “Oh, not really, she isn’t that important here” one giggled. His face went blank at that “Actually, she is the most important thing to me, so if you would, never talk about her again. She’s amazing, she deserved to be treated as such, not bullied out of the school. If she is having trouble she needs help, not whatever it is y’all are doing. You will never be great at something with attitudes like that, now if you excuse me, I need to find my girlfriend” as he turned around he saw you standing in the door, tears threatening to leave your eyes. “Denki…” his arms were around you in a second “I love you” he whispered in your ear, “if you are having trouble we can work on it together, okay? Don’t be afraid to tell me things, I will always be here to help you”

It was a rare, but needed day off from practice for the boys. Everyone was excited to finally relax, especially Miyuki. You had just started dating but you haven’t gone on a date yet, so this day had been planned for weeks. It was going to be simple but romantic as Miyuki told his teammates, he just wanted you to know he cared about you even though his sport took over a lot of his time. You just started dating but you have been friends since middle school, and he has liked you since then as well.

You were a nervous wreck. He wouldn’t tell you what he had planned, just to dress comfortable, so of course you were digging through your closet for a comfortably cute outfit. Finally, taking a breath and realizing that he’s seen you at some of your worst times, you allow yourself to pick out your favorite pair of jeans and a cute sweater you haven’t gotten to wear yet.

You had just finished putting on some lipgloss (or chapstick if you aren’t a gloss person) when he knocked on your dorm door, and the nerves hit again. But you managed to open the door, keeping the shaking at bay. And he stood there, not saying a word, leaving you wondering what you did. “Uh, Miyuki?” You ask softly watching him shake his head like in a movie “Sorry, you just look really pretty” he said, putting his hands in his pockets but eyes not leaving you. “You look better, but shall we go? Where are we going by the way?” You ask as you close the door behind you “you know that cute café not far from here? I thought we could get something to eat and maybe take a walk? See where the day takes us!” He said excitedly, it was so simple, but also perfect. “Are you sure you aren’t too tired to be doing this?” You worried “Y/N, I will never be too tired to spend time with you”

After the food (which was great) and light conversation you made your way to a near by park, the weather was nice out and it was peaceful for once. You noticed Miyuki kept taking his hands out and putting them back in his pockets. Wondering if he wanted to do the same thing as you, you took the first step. Waiting for them to come out again, you quickly grab his hand, swinging it slightly, and looked the other direction to avoid eye contact mumbling something about “so we don’t get separated” but boy, did you miss the biggest smile on his face with a slight blush.

The sun was starting to set and you both decided to head back, you knew he was tired but he wasn’t going to admit it, he walked you to your door even though you said he didn’t have to. He barley let go of your hand the whole time you were walking, enjoying the feeling of it in his way too much. When you got to the door you turned shyly to him “Thank you for today, it was nice to get some alone time” you whisper while giving him a hug, it wasn’t your first time hugging, but this felt different, he was warm and inviting and you didn’t really want him to leave. You feel him sigh and when you look up at him he presses the quickest but softest kiss on your lips before backing away slightly “I wish we got more time together alone, but I’ll try to spend any free time I have with you, okay? Just remember you are so important to me” and with one more kiss to your forehead he walked back to his dorm.

Your relationship was weird. You understood his want to keep it more of a secret, with how his father was and all. Even without your classmates knowing, it just made the time you got to spend alone even more special. You got to see a side to him that no one else sees. Late at night one of you would sneak into the others room, that was always your favorite time. Whenever he saw you he gave a smile you never see anyone else have. He will wrap you in his arms and give you a kiss that leaves you breathless.

Your relationship would probably be considered weird if anyone else noticed but to y’all, it was great.

During class, you guys would be civil to each other, but most just assumed you were just classmates. That’s why you couldn’t be too mad when you were sitting at lunch with Mina, Tsu, Kirishima, and Kaminari. Mina mentioned how much time Todoroki and Momo spend together during class. They immediately started to come up with a plan to get them together, going as far as saying they could lock them in a room together. You didn’t realize how out of it you became (I mean, how could you not, they were trying to hook your boyfriend up with someone else) until Tsu asked if you were okay. “Yeah, I’m just not feeling to great, I’m just going to head back to class” you say quietly as you get up to throw away your food, hearing them still trying to plan.

I mean, they didn’t know. But it still made you feel bad. It made you feel like you weren’t a good match for him, I mean, that’s what your classmates made it seem like. When you get to the door of the classroom, your heart dropped seeing Shouto and Momo sitting close, going over notes. Maybe they were a better match, turning around you decided to go to your dorm. Not wanting to be around anyone, especially not wanting to see them anymore.

You stayed in bed for the rest of the day, ignoring the call for dinner being ready and the knocks on your door asking if you were okay. It was much later when your phone started vibrating, showing Shouto’s picture as him being the one calling. You immediately sent it to voice mail, only for him to call again. This happened a couple times, hoping he would get the message…. And then the texting started.

Shouto:

Y/N please talk to me

Tsu said you weren’t feeling well earlier are you okay?

Please just let me know you are okay

I’m coming up to your room

It was less than a minute before you heard a soft knock on your door. You sigh, debating if you want to let him in or not before you get one last text.

If you don’t let me in, I’m going to find a way to open the door anyway.

So you wrap yourself in your blanket, opening the door, squinting at the light in the hallway. Before you could say anything he was wrapping you in his arms. “Please don’t scare me like that” he whispered. “Are you okay? Your sick? What can I do” in that moment you finally allowed yourself to cry, burying your face in his chest, him raking his fingers through your hair, shushing you softly. You were pulled farther into the room, and onto your bed, where he pulled you back into his chest, with a kiss on your head you felt yourself fall asleep.

It was a couple days later and he joined you and your friends for lunch, sitting across from you. You never told him what was wrong and he was still worried so kept a close eye on you. He didn’t actually talk until Kaminari spoke to him “So, Todoroki, you and Momo, what’s going on with that?” He looked confused by the statement “We just go over notes together every now and then” he said with little emotion “So, you ever think about asking her out?” Kirishima asked and that’s when it hit him, you were looking down at your food, looking ready to bolt at any moment. All he wanted to do was comfort you, tell you he only wanted you. So he stood up ready to throw away his trash, “No, I’m pretty happy right now actually” he heard Kaminari call out “Come on, you probably have the best chance with her” he turned back and saw your face and couldn’t help it. He never wanted to see you look that way again. So instead of answering he walked to you, and gave you a kiss that showed all he wanted to say to you, and hopefully showed everyone why he didn’t want to ask anyone out.

When he pulled away he kept his hands on your cheeks and forehead pressed to yours. “Sorry, but Y/N is the only one I need, we have something to do actually” he said as he pulled you up and out of the room. You couldn’t hide the blush on your face but the smile you held told him you were happy with his choice. “Next time, please tell me what’s going onC you are the only one I want, and I’ll show you every day from now on.”

Yes! Request are open for any My Hero character really! Also, this was fun! I don’t know if I did a good job with it though, so I’m sorry if it’s bad!

You had been friends with him since middle school. It was actually surprising you guys had stayed friends since you had no intention on being a hero. You did attend UA but in the support course instead, that was more your speed. You were one of the few people Bakugo would talk to in a somewhat civil manner. But y’all had similar personalities, loud, motivated, and didn’t put up with other people’s crap.

You were starting to get annoyed though. Ever since the sports festival there were girls surrounding him, no matter how much he showed his disinterest, and he definitely showed it. But one shy seeming girl managed to sneak her way close to him. She seemed innocent and sweet, but to you seemed like she was up to something.

She always acted shy around him but when you saw her around her own friends she was completely different. Every time you tried to talk to him about it she would show up, almost out of nowhere. It was getting really annoying. So you sent a text asking about her and their relationship, it was still new, only a couple weeks old so hopefully it wouldn’t sound weird with you asking.

Bakugo: Yeah, she’s cool, why?

Y/N: oh, nothing, she just seems not your type is all

Bakugo: yeah, she’s different, but, people keep saying different would be good for me or whatever, and she was getting annoying with asking so I gave in

Y/N: annoying?

Bakugo: she was leaving notes everywhere, constantly popping up, she’s cool now though, she kind of lets me do my own thing

It still seemed weird but, you guessed if he was happy it would be fine, right?

Everything was fine, until two weeks later, you were walking with him because, well, you were friends and you were talking about something you were building when she pushed you out away from him.

“Bakugo, why are you talking to her? She’s not going to be a hero?”

“Yeah, sorry I didn’t introduce you, she’s a old friend, she’s in support, this is Y/N”

You tried, you really did try to be nice… but she scoffed

“Support? Like you could do anything good with that. Come on, can you tell me more about your hero stuff”

With that it hit you, she was going to wait it out until he was a hero. Hero’s get paid well, and we all knew he was good and going to be up in the top quickly. You could just pull him aside and tell him what you thought… or…

You started hanging around him more, telling him you needed to talk through a possible new design for his gauntlets, but you caught yourself catching up a lot more. You had missed hanging out with him so this was good anyway. She didn’t know much about this stuff so she sat pouting whining a couple times”Bakugo, can we please go” he would be short with a simple “no” which caused her to pout more before stomping off. This happened a couple times and you could tell she was struggling to keep her shy personality and about to let her true colors show.

It was the day you were almost done with the plans that you say you guys should go to lunch before training that she snapped.

“Bakugo, you said we were going to lunch together!” She yelled “oh, yeah, but me and Y/N are almost done so-“ before he could finish she snapped further “go with her and we are done.” It was short, it was simple, it was just what you wanted to happen. You knew him. You knew he hated when girls acted like that, especially in public. “Okay.” Was all he said. “Okay? You will come with me?” She asked with her softer voice. “No, okay, we are done. Y/N is helping me and you are annoying me now. So we are done” you couldn’t stop the smirk on your face as you watched her stop away saying something about “you aren’t even worth this.”

“So food?” You asked, still smiling “You planned that didn’t you” he asked looking at his phone. “I don’t know what you are talking about” was your reply as you gathered your stuff.

By the way, y’all started to see each other more so of course, you end up getting together within the next year. It was bound to happen anyway.

-okay, so, just imagine, he falls asleep watching Bob Ross almost every night

-he doesn’t want to admit it but it helps him relax and clear his mind, and he just likes it, he never tells anyone though

-you didn’t even find out until you had been dating for about a year, one day he was sick, like, unable to get out of bed, high fever sick (because we know he wouldn’t stay home unless it was bad)

-you came by to bring him some soup and just take care of him, knowing he would be too weak to complain, and you found him curled up on the couch in a blanket burrito (I’m too soft for this save me) watching old episodes

-he would be too tired to even try to hide it, he explained that it relaxed him but you just shushed him, telling him it didn’t matter, it was sweet

-ever since then you would come over and you both would fall asleep watching, his arm around you and your head on his chest

-you noticed there was one episode that he would put on more than the others, you didn’t know what was special about it but you decided to take a chance and see if he wanted to do something cute with you (let’s be real though he would be so soft for you, you were the one person he let his guard down around)

-“babe? can we try paining this one someday?”

-of course he would say yes, adding something about how “he can’t paint trees better anyway”

-so you for all the paint and some canvases and knowing you two, you put down a tarp in case you made a mess

-you both started trying really hard to follow, but you were too playful for your own good so of course, you painted his arm

-he started yelling, but his heart was melting at the way you were giggling, so he painted your cheek as payback, causing you to laugh more and, god he could listen to that sound all night

-a few minutes later and you were both laying on the tarp, covered in paint

-“you know we could be one of those cute Instagram couples who paint stuff on each other’s back” You mention, earning a scoff

-“we are way better than any Instagram couple”

-so of course you take selfies, him looking angry in most but there are a couple good ones, your favorite was when he thought you were done and he was kissing your head (yes it’s now your screensaver)

-so you never actually finished the painting but neither of you really cared

-you just enjoyed seeing this side of him, a side that people don’t believe he has

-like, people don’t understand why you stay with him, but they don’t see him when you are alone, where he can be rude and angry to everyone else, he was just a big softy to you

-so he will paint with you and let you join in his quiet Bob Ross time any time if it makes you happy

Oikawa angst part two

This is a lot fluffier than the first part 😊

Wasn’t this supposed to make you feel better? You had to take care of yourself, you weren’t happy, so you left. But why were you feeling worse? Was it the glares the girls in your class constantly had towards you now? Was it the disappointed look his teammates would give you before looking away quickly, not really wanting you to see? Or was it the way he wasn’t talking to anyone anymore, except his teammates? He just gave them a sad smile and continued to walk with his hands in his pockets.

He was a really good guy. You were just different people. But right now you felt awful. You didn’t want to hurt him. And you did miss him. You just couldn’t take the attention.

He didn’t try to contact you after that day two weeks ago either. You got what you wanted. You were alone again. But it hurt a lot more now.

It was a couple days later, you were eating your lunch in the library when you felt someone come up behind you, before you could turn a deep voice startled you “Y/n, we need to talk” you recognized the voice but turned confused at why Iwaizumi wanted to talk to you. Looking past him you noticed a couple other members of the team, you had met them all before but weren’t really friends with any of them.

“Yes?” You responded quietly waiting for him, he actually looked nervous to be talking to you. “It’s about Oikawa. Look, I know more than anyone how annoying he can be, trust me, but he really liked you. He’s completely changed since you left him. He’s unfocused and quiet and it’s just weird. I know, it’s hard to be around him but you really did make him a better person”

You had moved your eyes down to the table, not wanting to make too much contact. “He would be better with someone more out going than me. I don’t like the groups that he’s always in. I’m not good for him-“ before you could finish Iwaizumi started laughing, making you shrink in on yourself “Sorry, Y/n, but no, he does not need someone like him, you balance him well, if it ever seemed like he was ignoring you, he probably just didn’t get to see you yet, because he would drop anything for you in a second. He adored you, ask any of those guys standing over there if you don’t believe me. He wouldn’t shut up about you during practice. He actually was whining about how he never got to spend alone time with you. Please, for his sake, your sake, and all our sake, talk to him”

You sat for a second, taking in everything Iwaizumi said to you. How were you supposed to talk to him after you just left. There was still a small voice in your head telling you that he probably hated you and didn’t want to see you, but maybe you needed to trust someone else for a change.

“Help me?” You asked and got a smirk in response.

Another day, another practice, another walk home with no one to call to talk to during it. He missed you. He wasn’t trying to hide it. He stopped talking to the girls, he didn’t want to hang out with the people who try to surround him, he just wanted you. And he lost you, how could he lose you, you were the best thing for him. He just wanted to go home. Digging through his bag for his clothes to change hit hand hit a piece of paper, curious he opened it an immediately recognized your hand writing.

His heart felt like it was going to explode, looking around he caught Iwaizumi’s eye who gave him a nod and he made his way back out to the court where you were standing, facing away from him and towards the net with a volleyball in your hands.

When you felt him come up behind you, you spoke quietly “How are you supposed to jump so high to get it over that tall of a net?” You asked hearing him chuckle, “Well, most of us are pretty tall anyway.” Turning to him you giggle “Right, I guess I’d be too short to play” He shook his head, a soft smile on his face, different from the ones he would give other people “well, could you show me?” You ask even softer, if he wasn’t right next to you he might not have heard. Instead of answering he comes up behind you and starts adjusting your arms to receive “There, the ball might sting the first couple times, but you hit with this part of your arm, do you want to try?”

You passed the ball, or, attempted to pass the ball back and forth a couple times, he went very easy on you, then he hit a little too high causing you to take a step back and in you typical clumsy self, fall. He rushed to your side, worried you might have hurt yourself, but he found you laughing at your own clumsiness. “See, this is why I don’t play sports” you giggle causing him to join you, pushing a piece of hair that fell down back behind your ear. “Tooru-“ you stop, taking a breath “I’m sorry” you whisper, hoping he knew what you were saying “No, Y/N, I’m sorry” he sat next to you pulling you into his lap with his arms around your waist, allowing you to wrap yours around his shoulders. “I’ll do better” he whispered “I will too.”
